Beautifulbeach front resort in a family friendly atmosphere.Our room was a superior family room,big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, although we did use a porter cot that could only fit next to our queen bed. Big bathroom that included a bath.Our rooms were serviced daily with complimentary water and turndown service in late afternoon.
We ate most meals at lagoon restaurant, kids ate for free.Food was very high standard with buffet style service,wide range of food to choose,including seperate kids meal choices - at times our kids just wanted some hot chips,this was never a problem for the staff to organise, even a special order at breakfast for porridge.
The staff are very friendly,they absolutely adore the kids.The biggest feature of resort is the pool,huge pool with kids down one end and adults with no kids at the other end,water slide added bonus. Great pool side service for snacks and drinks,no money needed,charged to ur room.Plenty of activities for adults both at the beach or organised through the tour desk.
Several shops at the resort,prices reasonable and handy.Bula bus comes every 5 minutes to take you to the marina,only $6 for all day ride,kids free.
Hotel has complimentary washers and driers.
Resort is only 20 min ride from airport which is nice after 4 hr flight with kids.taxi cost $30 one way to airport.
Area recommendations
If you have small kids,then Denaru Island is a must.It is only a short distance from the airport.There is the Bula Bus that can take you to the marina for more shops for only $6,kids free,there are restaurants,supermarket,bakery,and touristy shops. Or for $12 get a taxi ride into Nadi town ,only takes 10 min...you will only do this once,a lot of haggling to get you into their shops to buy stuff,don't go into town if looking for a meal,stick to resort or marina(the best pizza place in town at the marina,biggest pizza u will ever see)

If you are travelling with an infant under 2 and want to buy them a seat on the flight,double check with airlines first ....they may sell you a seat but when it comes time to check in,they won't allocate the infant a seat as their systems do not accept the date of birth.To get an allocated seat the infant must be 2.We learnt this the hard way...Pacific Blue were able block off a seat for our daughter each way as the flights were not full.
