“Good location, walk to town. Not for honeymooners”
Clean room, could use updating in the bathroom but it was clean. We had a air conditioned room, it was not working well our 3rd night, we told the front desk the next morning and they installed a new AC that day, so they do respond to any issues you might have. There are some problems that we had that was not the hotels fault but did impact our stay. One day the water pressure in the town was low and was not able to make it up to our 4th floor room. The hotel gave each guest staying on the 4th floor access to a room on the 1st floor for bathroom use until the water pressure was back up which was later that day. Another night a coconut tree snapped and fell on a power line, which took out power to the hotel. It was restored at 3:30am. So no AC for us that night, and there was not screen on the sliding door, so we did have bug bites that night. No othe issues. The staff was great, bed comfortable, room clean. Retaurant food was ok, nothing special, better eating in town at the surf and turf or Decked out Cafe. Hotel bar would be fine for a drink though, nice views. For the price we would stay again, but it is not a fancy resort, so not recomened for honeymooners. Better for the budget traveler.
