“Outrigger definitely deserving of the 5 stars”

The staff are exceptional and really elevate this resort to the highest level. For once you can read the brochure and believe what you read. Only slight downside was the location in relation to outside activities. A lot of operators did not do pick ups so transfers were required and rather expensive. Reef was able to be snorkelled only at high tide and rather decimated. But this is picking at straws as I can only grumble about a couple of things that are completely out of the control of management. And when there is so many positives to mention....too much so to write. Go experience it for yourself.

My husband and I recently enjoyed 6 great nights at the Outrigger in an Ocean View Bure. The service was fabulous, food was varied and of a high quality, and the Day Spa a great treat

“We loved it”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger. The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. Our room was more than comfortable and the grounds absolutely stunning. The pool area large and spacious and the restaurants varied and of excellent quality (especially the Ivi).

The Outrigger combined luxury with friendliness to make the perfect holidays. The rooms and resort grounds were beautiful, and the friendly, welcoming staff really made the experience.

The staff were so friendly there and the bed was soooo comfy. The food was a little more expensive than they should be, and it would have been better if they serve more seafood, particularly fish, since fish is a main part of the local diet!

“A bit remote, but a fantastic resort”

We had five nights at the Outrigger on th Lagoon in July 2010. We hired a car and drove from the airport. Service was friendly with a big 'bula' smile, and efficient, notwithstanding late room servicing on one occasion. We had an ocean view room on the third floor and this was a bonus for us as we really enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony and take it all in. The butler service canapes and champaign at dusk was great. Room was new and attractive. Sundowners was e really romantic place for cocktails and pizza and Ivy is a very classy restuarant. 'Happy Birthday' and Isa Lei serenade over dinner made my wife's special day even better. Pool area is attractive and grounds are lush and well manicured. Tried dinner at nearby Bedara Resort - cheaper and pretty good. Beach, as with others on Coral Coast, is not great for swimming, but pleasant for lounging. The nightly dance music at the bar was most enjoyable. We would certainly recommend the Outrigger and would like to return on eday.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger. The staff were so friendly, and the facilities and activities on offer were great - there was even complimentary yoga each morning. The restaurants served a good variety of food and at fairly reasonble prices. It was very easy to relax here!

“Will go back when I have kids”

Outrigger is a bit of a drive from the airport, but it's through a charming Fijian landscape and villages, and the transfers are easy and cheap to organise. The grounds are a treat for any garden lover (there is a free tour by gardener). Our only reservation is there is no adults only pool. We particularly enjoyed the visit to the nearby wildlife park and uncle Jim's guided visit to Malevu village.

“Excellent Holiday”

This resort was worth every dollar spent. Huge pool, easy access to coral and fish, and top quality accomodation.
