“Convienient, friendly staff, exellent service.”

Pleasant, friendly staffs. But need to improve outdoor activities. While we were there, gyms not open, pool not clean.

“Clean and spacious”

Good hotel for a stopover or a day. The restaurant is average and food average but all pleasant enough place for good rest. Our room was very clean and well cared for.

“Use only as an airport hotel and not destination”

The Mocambo, Nadi was an adequate hotel to use for the night you arrive or for the night before you leave Fiji. This hotel was a good value. The service was excellent. Everyone from the free airport shuttle driver to the front desk staff and in the restaurant. They even called the ferry service in the morning to confirm my pickup at the hotel which was nice. The room is where I had an issue. The TV only had 1 channel that came in clearly - I would rather not have a TV if that is the case. The room smelled musty (from all the humidity), the bed was uncomfortable and it just didn't feel clean to me (once again the humidity) I would stay at again on my way in or out of Fiji, but not make this my destination hotel.

“Average hotel - probably wouldnt stay there again”

Had a mediocre stay at the Novotel. Nothing really stood out good or bad except the slackness of the staff at cleaning our room. It still hadnt been done at 4.00pm in the afternoon which brassed us off. We just wanted to shower and change after being out for the day & honestly thought it would have been done by then. Very large hotel - felt impersonal & rooms quite a way from the restaurant/front desk & pool complex.

“Some lack in service”

We had confirmed arrival twice by email (once the day before and once that same morning of travel) and requested pick up at the airport. Return emails reassured us that the airport shuttle would be there to pick us up. One of the important points on the web site was that the hotel advertises a free hotel shuttle. Of course when we arrived, there was no shuttle-and we arrived right on time as well). After waiting for awhile, we took a cab over. When I made a remark on checking in, they did not seem to care.

“Will think if want to book that hotel again”

The services we good only complain i got is that i found lot of small cockroaches in the room which my kids and me didnt like.

“Great for an overnight near the airport”

I certainly wouldn't suggest staying here for a vacation, but it's an excellent place to stay over before or after a flight out of Nadi airport. The rates are a good value, and the location is great. Staff is friendly. Rooms are fine. The restaurant is lousy, though, as is most of the food nearby in town.

“Good place to stay before leaving Fiji”

Hotel is a good place to stay before leaving Fiji. Very close to airport and has a free shuttle. They do charge for wireless internet in your room, but they have a 20 minute free of charge internet on their computer near the restaurant. Staff very courteous. Rooms in my opinion would be rated as a 3 star in the USA

“Stayed a couple of times now, but not again!”

We stayed in the delux suites, it getting a run down look since 08 our last stay. Bed was hard for an upmarket room. Room service left us with out towels most days having to ring and walk up to reception to remind them to send us towels etc. food was ordinary, breakfast menu got a bit tiring after a few days. On arrival we had 8 Satelite channels, these disappeared after 2 days, we were told friday that we would have channel back on monday, we checked out thursday still no Satelite TV. Daily papers came not everyday but when they remembered I suppose! so long novatel
