“Convenient and close to airport”
Very close to the airport with decent rooms. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was clean and the AC worked great.
“Lovely hotel echoing the better days of the British Empire”
Everything delightful in this 4-star hotel including bar and food service, except front desk was quick to sell us local currency for a non-existent departure fee, leaving us stuck with Fiji$80 (about US$50). (Desk does not buy back local currency.) No signs of military dictatorship in effect in July of 2009, other than in newspapers.
“Great place to end your holiday”
Having stayed at Raffles in 1999, I knew it was a basic friendly place ideal for short space of time before heading to the airport. But these days it has a massive outdoor pool area with lots of places to sit and relax to get the last bit of sunshine before flying out. The bar staff are lovely, the restaurant great. My only complaint was the room I was located in was directly above the bar area, where there was a musician until very late. If I had been in the other wing, this would not have been a problem. Nor if I had been in a group that was drinking in the bar, I just needed an early night for 5am start at airport. Oh well!

“Flight stop-over”
We used this hotel for a one night stop-over between flights. The courtesy airport transfer service was convenient. The "deluxe room" was spacious, clean and adequately equiped. On checkout we had to ask several times to arrange our luggage collection and airport transfer - however, this was sorted-out after a short delay.
“GREAT stay!!”
We were looking for a hotel close to the airport that was reasonable as we had a connecting flight to catch...this hotel was a superb choice! We did not hear the planes from our room, we had a free shuttle service and would definitely stay there again.
“Not bad...worth the price.”
very close to airport... about 15 mins drive to Nadi City and the Port. as i can tell from the air-conditioner..that is a very old hotel... Room is alomostly clean, They don't supply any drink in the mini bar except tea and coffee bags. i found 2 cockroachs and some ants in the shower room. According to the Trees and plants around the hotel i think that is un-aviodable. I was given a room at ground floor, the front window of the room is wierd( i think whole hotel they have al the same)...there is no glass at all. just wooden blinds...that is a bit noisy when someone pulling their bags and passing your door and talk loud. but I still give a 4 of 5, Clean room, good serive, close to airport(you won't miss your flight), and the swimming pool .
“Good value”
This is a good value airport hotel which is a pleasant, clean and comfortable place to spend a transit night when holidaying in Fiji. The pool is very nice with the waterslide providing a bit of extra fun and the food and drinks fresh and tasty. Service was very friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious with character in the Fijian style of decor giving them a bit more local feel. We could not hear any airport noise in the rooms and the courtesy transfer was handy.
“Raffles Gateway Hotel, Nadi Fiji”
Great service. Restaurant very good. Closest hotel to airport. Very family friendly. Moderate price. Only cons-- wifi is not free, vendor provides and some units second story walkup. Would stay again if in transit.
“Great Hotel”
A very pleasant, comfortable hotel right opposite the Airport. We stayed a night on arrival and a night before departure from Fiji. The shuttle pickup from the Airport was a welcome surprise, as although the hotel's close it's still a bit of a walk with luggage through the airport and across a busy road. Wonderfully pleasant and helpful front-desk staff, a well-kept garden and pool area, and a comfortable bed. The open-air Restaurant served a good selection of food, with delightful wait staff and in the evening, a couple of Fijian guys serenaded us while we ate. Absolutely no complaints - would return again.
