“Great Beach Location”

We recently spent just a day and a night at Club Fiji due to a flight layover. We were pleased to have the shuttle pick us up at the airport and that although we arrived at the resort at 7 a.m. they were more than accomodating in letting us check into our room right away. We needed this as we were wiped from the 11 hour all night plane flight. We found that Club Fiji is located right on a nice beach and was very South Pacific picturesque. Our bure was adequately nice, but had no amenities such as TV, phone, frig, etc. We tried not to do so, but we succumbed to paying their additional charge for A/C. It was warm and humid! We enjoyed lounging on the beach in both hammocks and lounge chairs under beach umbrellas. The place is very tranquil. The resort seems to be rather isolated, so we felt the need to eat all of our meals in their two restaurants, both of which we found to not be good and grossly overpriced. The bar activity seemed rather lively with lots of exotic looking drinks, but we are not partakers ourselves.

“Good clean resort”

Nice resort to stay on Mainland. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Emailed twice to let them know flight times for shuttle service but did not turn up. Also said they could not take us to airport when leaving as bus already in use but bus was outside resort when we left. Not impressed with shuttle service, do not rely on it!

“Fiji Paradise”

Resort was very nice, food was great, but very slow service...Room was not at all clean...bathroom was dirty when we arrived and was never cleaned during our stay...room had gecko droppings all over...on the piccture frames,on the pillows,on the walls...very yucky! Makes one wonder how clean the kitchen is...

“Well set up sea side resort”

The Resort is well set up with all the facilities there. Staff are friendly. It is right next to the beach but the beach is more like a sand flat at low tide. they have regular shuttle bus to Nadi and organising trips is easy with the tour desks.I enjoyed the stay there.

“relax and unwind”

For a place to relax and unwind Club Fiji resort was just fine. Although the place was quiet it suited me and i found the staff ( particularly the bar staff) to be friendly and welcoming with always a ready smile. Comming from a different counrty and culture it does take time to adjust to the Fijian way (and Fiji time) so kick back and enjoy it. The bure was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Having read some of the other comments on Expedia before i left, in particular regarding the beach and sand , I was a little hesitant. Sure the beach has grey sand and is tidal ,however, people must remember that you pay for what you get. If you want white sandy beaches go to one of the islands. Just remeber that you will be paying 4 times what you pay at Club Fiji. I enjoyed my stay.

“Good hotel near Nadi”

Better to stay here if you don't like being stuck in the city. It's only 20 mins from the airport in Nadi, and is on the beach so nice views and plenty of plam trees. Hire a scooter from Westside Rentals and explore up and down the coast. Club Fiji is a perfect base for exploring guests. Food is good and reasonably priced too, with 3 theme nights so you don't get bored. Pool is nice and cool and probably better than trying to swim in the ocean since you have to wade out several hundred metres before you get to waist deep water. The front desk staff can arrange taxis and tours and are friendly and helpful. The highlight for me is the movie bures which you can watch free dvds at night on a mattress and pillows, order dessert from the restaurant and have it bought to you while you watch. Only slight catch is some little scratches on some dvds. Otherwise great stay, would definitely go back again

“Quiet and relaxing”

We found the resort to be very welcoming, nicely situated on the beach. Very relaxing and quiet which is just what we were looking for. JB's pizzas were the best choice for food

“just about perfect!”

The property was very well kept for the most part. The beach front bure was even better than expected. The staff are all friendly and I would recommend getting a massage (even though the massage station is set up in kind of an odd area) it was some of the best spent money on my entire trip. The food was all very good and came in very large portions, to the point that 2 people could probably share a lot of the meals. One thing that bothered me was the fact that since the hotel is on the beach it is obviously not close enough to walk to town or be able to catch a local bus. Your only option is either a taxi or the hotel shuttle (which they charge for and it is only available certain times of the day to take you in to Nadi). The shuttle also charges to take you to the airport when you check out. I was really a little turned off by this since we had just spent quite a bit of money at their hotel, one would think this would be a courtesy the hotel would extend at least to guests that have stayed multiple days. The only other thing I didn't like was the condition of the beach. There was random trash laying around which is not what a tourist wants to see. There were a lot of employees so it seems that somebody could have been more proactive at keeping the beach a little cleaner. Overall the positive does outweigh the negative for this property and I would most certainly stay here again. I just think there are a few small issues the hotel should look into and consider correcting.

“Great value. Great Fijian experience.”

This hotel may not have the creature comforts of a 5 star hotel, but the staff are amazing and provide a 5 star service. Definitely NO Fiji time at this hotel. Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

“A good place to stay close to Nadi.”

The resort is conveniently located (cheap taxi to Nadi) and the service with drinks and meals was very good. Meals, while not cheap (A$ plus), were very good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. As with meals, alcohol was expensive and a glass of wine with dinner added quite a bit to the overall bill. The resort offered a boat to a nearby reef for snorkelling as an inclusive offer. This worked well. Although the reef was definitely unspectacular, it was a good experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would most likely stay again should we revisit Nadi.
