“You pay for what you get!”
The pictures look a lot better than the cheap rooms actually are! The rooms are clean, but run down especially the shower. The bed isn't the most comfortable and the fan and aircon are really noisy! But you pay for what you get...... I certainly think that it is worth the cheap price you pay compared to the expensive resorts if you don't mind roughing it for a few days! The location is good, only $6 or $7 taxi to Nadi town and food eateries all around with supermarket next door! Pool is great, and restaurant reasonably priced.
“Service Excellent Accomodations Poor”
We had a quick stay at the Hexagon, the pool was great & well maintained. The rooms were not up to standard, pillows and bed lumpy. Ants were hoffific You shouldn't have to sleep with them.. The service was excellent which compensated for a quick stay. Would recommnd the hotel if the more expensive suiytes were better. They looked promising.
“it was ok for Nadi”
Yeah I wasn't thrilled with this place, the staff seemed less friendly than in other places I had stayed in Fiji, the bathroom was in a state of disrepair and I was disappointed to be overcharged for a bottle of water - $4 more than at the airport. I was woken up at 3.30am by a drunk party somewhere else in the hotel but hey its a party town I guess!
“Budget Stay”
It is what it is - The food is ordinary and the comfort level is budget. On saying that it is a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a few days - but bears no resemblance to the luxury places down the road in Denarau.
“Ok but..”
A bit rundown and faded and I didn't get the friendliest welcome compared to other places I stayed in Tonga but it was cheap and clean.
“It is all right.”
I was disappointed with the hotel. I expected more because of the price although the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
“No worse than the rest...”
After being spoilt in the hotels of Europe and especially in the US, stopping overnight in Fiji was frankly a mistake, and thanks to Air Pacific we ended up staying an extra 34hrs. I had been there a few times before, more than 2 decades ago and it was a fun tourist destination whilst still being a 3rd world country, now it is a toilet. All I can say is never again. The Queens Road between the airport and Nadi town, of which the hotel is halfway along, is worse than some of the fire trails I have mountain biked, the shops are delapidated and the McDonalds looks older than me, and I dont remember it being here last time. The hotel and room was clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the A/C worked in the room, the poolside deluxe with double beds ended up being a single and a double, outside of that the room was old, though updated. The same went for the hotel next door we stayed in at Air Pacifics leisure the next night. Outside of the that stick with the Intercontinental or Novatel, if you really must go there at all.
“Not impressed”
Staff very friendly. New bar under construction and new three story complex being built on boundary. Building work commencing 5am to6pm. Great hotel if you enjoy living on a building site under the flight take off path!
“Wouldn't recommend”
Nadi is quite a battle as it is but make it easy on yourself. Don't stay here! We used Nadi as our hub for our 2 week trip around Fiji. We were booked in for 3 nights at Hexagon at various points of the trip. The first night wasn't good, the second time was shocking so we cancelled the third. We were put up in what could only be described as a jail cell: bars on the windows, flickering fluro light and dirty sheets. I would recommend the Mercure which is just 2 doors down, the same room rate and and comfortably superior in every way that counts. Safe travels
“okish”
was ok for a budget place to stay - it has a supermarket next door which is handy. The food is not good at the hotel suggest eating elsewhere. Taxi drivers rip you off.
