This hotel was lovely. We did half board which i would recommend. Great food and service. Reception was very helpful when we found our room to be too hot, due to the air conditioning not being turned on to the 1st of June. They moved our room and provided us with a fan. They then spoke to the manager and had the air conditioning turned on early in the main part of the building. Would recommend their wine tasting and tour they offer with in the hotel. 20 mintue walk from the train station as well and a fast train in to florence takes 30 minutes. Very helpful with any issues, Lovely place to stay.

I needed a stop on my way to Bolgna from a long trip south. Excellent hotel. Beautiful accommodations with a very friendly staff. Had a very nice dinner as they kept the kitchen open for me. Free parking and reasonably priced. I will return.

This is a top quality hotel. The Building. Terrace and Garden are historical. You can spend an hour just touring and taking pictures in this hotel compound. It has operating winery inside you can joint the scheduled tour. Absolutely an amazing experience for hotel staying.

Nice hotel but old facilities!
It's a nice hotel and I like it since many years. But only the thing I can not bare is their hair dryer!! It's old fashioned vaccine cleaner type with horse from the wall. This is absolutely inconvenience. Bathroom amenity is also too minimum. Just small tube of shower gel provided for 1 tube for 2 people?

We loved the hotel - the property is beautiful, the service was great, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean, we had a large four poster bed which was very comfortable. Both restaurants were great, the food and setting were fantastic. Breakfast could be a bit hit and miss with availability and the coffee wasn’t the best but the food was great, the courtyard is beautiful and the staff all worked hard to please everyone. We took part in the tour and wine tasting, which was good fun, great value, the wine was delicious and the host was excellent. We’d definitely recommend this! We purchased some wine from the shop before we left and can’t wait to open a bottle! The hotel is a great place to relax - it’s quiet and tranquil. The local town doesn’t have a lot to offer but it’s a good base if you have a car and want to travel to other towns or walk in the countryside

Beautiful villa with excellent service
Our family of 4 (including 2 adult children) loved our time at the beautiful and historic villa. Didn’t get to enjoy the facilities ie gym/ spa due to shortage of time but we signed up for a wine tasting + villa tour with Daniela and Anna’s cooking class and we loved them both! Highly recommend the cooking classes if you love cooking and would like to learn authentic Italian cuisine with locally grown ingredients. We also appreciate the reception staff for arranging taxi ride to the outlet mall (15 mins by car) and to our next stop Florence. Breakfast with piping hot croissants and fresh salami and coffee are a wonderful treat to start the day. Would recommend for people who would like to stay in the countryside before heading to other cities. We would come back for our next stay in Italy. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay Casagrande!

Our favorite stay....
Beautiful!! The hotel itself is amazing, the views, the staff and the amenities on property are unbeatable. My husband and I took the cooking class with Chef Anna and it was the highlight of our trip. She made us feel at home cooking with a loved one and we will soon recreate all the recipes she gave us! They also have a delicious restaurant and wine tour/tasting that’s was great!

Overall very good with very friendly staff. The only issues we ad were lack of a microwave and no iron. Apparently the one they had was not working and a new one was to come but we didnt get it. They should have more than one iron :)
