“Great Position for Golf-Lovers, or anyone else!”

The hotel is virtually at the 18th hole of the Old Course and yet still within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the bus station. I did not have a room at the front, but I can imagine that a room there would look directly down at the full length of the 18th. It's a very scenic walk from the hotel to the castle along the cliif top. The rooms were very comfortable with all the amenties most people would want. On my first night there it was extremely windy and there was a very loud noise in a vent near my room. I was quickly and efficiently moved to another room when I contacted reception. Even people not interested in golf could not fail to appreciate the position of this hotel. If you can afford it or want to splash out, a room overlooking the course and the West Sands (Chariots of FIre) would be something special for golf-lovers especially.
