“Lovely break away”

Lovely room with views over the bay. Comfortable bed with good quality linen. Fantastic shower and good toiletries. Limited TV channels but it was not a problem for us. Great choice for breakfast, and we also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on one evening. Sufficient cardio and weights in the gym to counteract over eating. Enjoyed short walk down to the beach areas accessed by the Fife Coastal route which runs along the bottom of the golf course. Hope to return as soon as possible and do a lot more walking in the area.

“Fairmont excell again”

The hotel was excellent as Fairmont hotels always are. The room was particularly good, being spacious with a very good bathroom. The only minor criticism was that the public areas were a little bit soulless and lacked the usual Fairmont characteristic charm.

“Exceptional experience!”

With exceptional views of St. Andrews and the North Sea, the hotel lived up to my high expectations. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding ... calling us by name once we checked in and for the rest of our stay. An unexpected pleasure were the two golf courses on site. The Kittocks Course offered challenging holes tucked right along the North Sea. Beautiful.

“Love this hotel-although 5* it is so relaxed but great standards”

Have been to this hotel on quite a few occasions and I love it everytime-only 1 thing we did say to the restaurant manager was to vary the menu a bit more-if you stay a week it is the same dinner menu every night. apart from that 1st class

Just had an overnight stay at the Fairmont St Andrews. A very Impressive hotel, the service was excellent. The executive suite was perfect after just being married. Stunning views on all sides I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were so friendly & pleasant, it didn't matter what their job was (from the highest to the lowest job)they made our trip one of the best I have had. I'm a non golfer with a golfing husband & couldn't have enjoyed myself more.

“Great place to stay in St. Andrews”

This hotel was amazing! We enjoyed an oceanview, while overlooking one of two golf courses on site. The bed was amazing, the room was perfect. The bathroom even has heated floors and towel warmers. They take excellent care of their guests here and I will stay at this hotel again the next time we are in St. Andrews. Also, the hotel is very new and although just outside of the Old town area, the shuttles from the hotel run every half hour. Just a great place to stay and relax. My wife loved her spa day when I played the Old Course. The dining room down by the water is a great place to watch view the city and the bay and the food was excellent as well.
