This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay It is clean and quiet and rooms are just so pretty We had dinner at their restaurant and it was top notch.It was just a great experience

I liked the size of the room. The breakfast had plenty of options. I did not like that my room smelt like someone just smoked a cigarette in it. Our towels had a smell on them too from something else. I checked in after 10pm so I did not want to fuss because I’d already driven all day

I would suggest looking elsewhere if you are in the Fergus Falls area. The manager at the front desk claimed I had reserved 2 rooms when I made the reservation. When my booking company showed him that only one room was booked, he claimed the credit card used to make the reservation was declined and made me pay again. I would be careful when booking here. I certainly won't be and will be avoiding Comfort Inns in the future.

Kayla was awesome! Attentive and fun. The property certainly shows it's age. The bathroom in our suite smelled of mold and the caulking around the tub is cracked and dirty. The shower curtain rod was hanging precariously. For the price we paid I would have expected a much cleaner room. On the previous night, for $40 less, we had a very clean room in Montana. Probably would not stay here again.

This hotel would have to be your last resort when looking to stay in Fergus Falls. The staff is got to be one of the laziest group of people I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality business and to say that they need training is an understatement. The management included definitely shows that the people who they employ is a direct reflection of why they will never be a four or five star hotel. I don’t recommend this establishment or anything else they might own in this city.

We arriived after our grandson's baseball game in Henning. There were two motels offered.....this one and the Fergus Inn. We took the Comfort Inn, thinking that it'd be better. It wasn't. I was told we needed to go to the Fergus Inn just down the street. When we arrived the girl at the desk went and got some blonde/gray haired lady who came and told me we had to go to Fergus Inn. I asked for a refund, and she said, "Well, you can come here for breakfast and use the pool." Um, no thanks, lady. When we did finally get a room at the Fergus Inn, the person checking us in said, "Oh yeah, they do this all the time. They overbook and then send them here." I asked about a refund and he said, "We are a budget motel." So we got screwed out of $100. The manager called over with his/her credit card, but didn't even have our name on a room. What a crap shoot. I WILL be writing a letter to Choice Hotels. They will NOT be my choice in the future. Heck, they didn't even have coffee in the room. Yeah, we're going to drive back to that place for some cereal.

This is a very average hotel- they are in the middle of remodeling and updating. Our room had not yet been updated so lots of wear and tear. The pool was warm and wonderful and the breakfast was amazing- lots of options for everyone!

Front door was out of service so we had to walk. There was a strong odor of some sort in the pool area. Once the hot tub was turned on it made a very loud noise, this area was also outdated. The rooms were clean but definitely outdated. We could hear the people walking around above us. I probably won’t stay again.

The staff was nice. The pool was warm and a good height for our daughter. Quite a dirty place. Needs updating. The plug-in in our room was close to causing a fire. It was hardly attached to the wall. Breakfast was yummy and different each day. Hot tub was smelly and the water was overflowing.

The air conditioner sound like a 1930’s 4 cylinder tractor running on only 2 cylinders, loud, heavy vibration. Turned it off after it cooled the room. Tried to open the window, but our window faced the freeway only 100 yards away, too noisy.
