“Decent Hotel”

This is a good business hotel near the government and banking district. It has a good rooftop deck with a gym and small pool. Breakfast in the morning is decent and most of the front desk staff speak English. There is a shopping mall about 200 meters away with several restaurants from which you can choose.

“Nice hotel, great price”

This is a very nice hotel by Brazil standards. Clean, fair sized rooms and good location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff was not fluent in English but I had no problem communicating for check in and room service. I have stayed at hotels in Brasilia for twice the money that weren't nearly as friendly or comfortable. Oh, be aware that internet is only wired in the rooms. Is free though and wireless in the lobby if you are on a tablet.

Area recommendations

Good spot near the tower. Walking distance to many attractions and casual restaurants. McDonalds is 100yds down the road if you are homesick.

“Nice Hotel with a Very Central Location”

Its a nice hotel with a very central location. Many of city's main shopping malls are situated nearby also the famous t.v tower and the metro station too. Some of the best restaurants are near the hotal. Mc Donals is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel serves a delecious buffet breakfast with lots of fresh Brazilian fruits. Hotel staff is helpful but not all the staff members speak english. Antonia at the reception is a nice helpful guy who can speak english. Hotel's gym needs to be remodel and all the gym machines needs to be chnaged as they are quite old and some of them are not even operational. Gym was the worst part of the hotel although it was situated on the top floor with a very nice view of the city. If remodel it could be a big plus point for the hotel. Swimming pool is also on the top floor but is too small to swim. Sauna is really good but u need to ask the hotel staff again and again to turn it on. As sometimes the staff is bit lazy. But thats the character of Brazilian people, bit lazy and relaxed people but extremely friendly and fun loving people. In fact I found Brazilian the most friendly and fun loving people in the world and I have been to more than 50 countries. Brazil is my most favorite country. My elder brother served in Brazil as a diplomat hence I lived here with him for 9 months in early nineties and since than I love Brazil. Overall my experience at Sonesta hotel is quite satisfactory.

Area recommendations

Centre of the city because most of the cities shopping malls are in this area. And also Lagu Sul as its the most beautiful residential area of the city with a beautiful lake.

“Fine Hotel”

Stayed here for one night during my vacation to Brazil. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was good.

“good value...”

I was extremely satisfied by my last stay in this hotel...The personnel was always friendly and the rooms are pleasant. The little fitness center on the roof is very clean and in very good state. I tried several hotels in Brasilia and it is, undoubtly, a good value one.

“The hotel was noisy as they are still building it, with no proper restaurant or bar in place”

We had to walk through the hotel car park to go to the breakfast room as they were the renovating the main restaurant. They had no bar in place and we had to go the next hotel They say they have a swimming pool at the hotel, however they have a small splash pond right at the top of the hotel

I will not advise someone to book with the hotel as they do not mention that they are still building and renovating the hotel
