“Good for the price”

Even tough it was an older hotel, it was what I expected going into it. For the three nights i was there if i needed something I got it and the staff was very friendly except for one night girl (i think it was the owners daughter), she just needs to learn that you always treat the customer with a smile and a yes sir no matter what but what she lacked everyone else made up for it......good job crew!!! This review is my thoughts as a Residential Manager for 6 years. I will return, Mr. Nuisance

“would not stay here again”

the room smelled, the neighborhood was sketchy, the bathtub had been painted around the drain where it had been chipped, the room needed a major upgrade, the internet did not work.

“Will definitely stay again!!!”

This was my 3rd trip to Fargo and my 3rd stay at the Grand Inn. The front desk was extemely friendly as usual. My room was impeccably clean as always. There was supposed to be a storm coming so instead of running around town, I took the time to relax and watch a couple of movies on HBO and nap. The hotel was really quiet considering it is summer. I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is really convenient to all of the shopping and I like the way they take care of the building since it is an older building. I was afraid there was going to be a paint smell since they just painted the rooms and the building but I didn't smell anything. I will go back again, next trip.

“Do not lose your confirmation number here.”

I misplaced my confirmation sheet and they had not expectation I was coming. Once they looked it up they booked me in no problem. I was booked into a single bed when I reserved one with two beds. That was corrected after some more lobby time. I booked a two night stay. When I was out of the hotel on day two they called me to complain that I'd left my belongings in the room. That was corrected. I was not enamored of their administrative work.

“Last minute stay- nothing else available”

The Grand Inn Fargo is what you pay for. The rooms are old and outdated, generally clean but still old. I will not stay there again and only stayed because everything else in the city was booked...

“Not Again”

The shower was moldy. I inspect hotels part time. If this had been a paid inspection, they would have failed miserably. We will not stay here again. We paid the same for a hotel in Minneapolis and it was on the opposite extreme of this one.

“Nevr stay here!”

Never stay here. The hallway and the rooms smelled like smoke even though there were no smoking signs on all the doors. No happy medium in the shower. Very hot or very cold! Towels were about shreaded. A pile of sand in the corner-not sure what that was. Bed was hard. Carpet was gross. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice! That was the only thing good about this hotel!

“Not impressed”

It is an inexpensive hotel, but the bed should have been disposed of a few years ago, the towels are thread bare and the size of a postage stamp. The hotel was clean and quite - that's about the only good qualities.

“Comfort”

The room was comfortable and so were the beds. It's not a fancy hotel but it was clean. I was worried at first after reading about the reviews but decided to check it out myself and I'm glad I did. I would stay here again. The new front desk clerk was a little confused when we got there but her manager came to the rescue and was very accomodating.
