“Good no frills motel”

Room was very tiny but fine for our needs. Excellent location if you have business in downtown Falls Church. No frills, not even a hair dryer in the room. Elevator is rickety and slow. Shower in room was excellent. Bed was quite comfortable.

“Need better muffins”

The staff was helpful. The room was clean. The TV was very good. The fridge and microwave were appreciated. But the continental breakfast was just a choice of sweets. The muffins had a consistency of peanut butter and stuck to the roof on your mouth. Couldn't stand them. Nor was there a place to sit and eat.

“3 nights at Inns of VA”

This is a small and private owned hotel. Hotel is old but is well kept. If you are looking luxury with all the fancy full services of a well known hotel chain, this one is not for you. If you value practicality, safe area, and cleanliness with occsional faults; then you will probably like this hotel. We are a party of 3, dropping by the DC area for a 3-day visit. Cleanliness and safety are our priority since we only came back at night to sleep. From a glance, this is the only hotel located on this strip--it is a mixed residential and business district. There is an apartment complex to the right of the hotel. The area is superb with all the local and chained eateries located next to it. several strip malls are in walking distance including a post office. We felt very safe during our stay there. Hotel is on the bus route which can take you to the MetroRail (subway) park station that is about 1 mile away. You can either take the bus in the front of the hotel or drive your own car to the MetroRail (subway) station. Our 3rd floor room was small but efficient with 2 beds + window, 2 chairs and table with lamp, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Iron board can be requested from frontdesk. Small standing shower only but very clean. Shower pressure was as good as living at home. There was a rotten (wooded part about 3") wall next to the shower, but we didn't mind. Lobly was very small but was staffed 24/7. Elevator worked fine. Private/fenced parking lot.

“Great value for visiting tourists”

This hotel is very reasonably priced and provides all amenities for free (parking, wifi, microwave, refrigerator, breakfast) that a tourist would need. The location is excellent, with ample bus service to the metro station and it is only a 20-minute metro ride to downtown Washington. The hotel is surrounded by every ethnic restaurant you could imagine, all in the safe and friendly small-town environment of Falls Church at small-town prices. There is even a nice gym right across the street available for a minor fee. Hotel staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are small and the hotel is old, so furniture is well-used, but everything is pristeen clean and the savings made in hotel expenses can be spent on more sightseeing in Washington with the family. I would come back.

“Great for what it is...basic hotel”

I needed a place to stay for one night on a business trip. The location was exactly what I needed. For a basic clean hotel room, it was fine. There were some rowdy guests that I heard in the hall way only. The hall ways were not particularly well kept and had an odd odor. The room itself was fine. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfy. If I was planning just to go there and sleep, this hotel will do. I would not stay for a prolonged visit (more than two nights).

“It's OK”

I chose this place because of the price. Sure enough, it was worthy of its 1 1/2 star rating. The bed covers and chair smelled like someone just ran a marathon and used them. And the toilet seat wasn't exactly clean like the seal that it had said it was. If you're just looking for a brief place to stay while you're in the area, it's ok. Don't expect too much. The staff was real nice and friendly though.

“Great Motel - Cheap Hotel”

Pros Priced cheaper than other area Hotels. This hotel is very well located in falls church. There is an ATM across street, and a 7-11 within 5 minutes drive. I ate dinner in Reston Town center which was a 25 minute drive (after 6). There is a nice health club across street but I didnt have time to inquire. The staff was very personable and wanting to be helpful. Cons I have slight allergies and although my room wasnt damp the elavator was very. My nose stayed stuffy the whole stay (2 days). The shower curtain looked in need of replacement, this kinda thing really sets a bad tone with me. Also The second morning I was given 2 coffee kits but they had gotten wet inside so were useless. Summary The nice staff didnt make up for the shortfalls (buy new shower curtains, clean the elavator, make sure coffee packets are sealed and dry) If you are on a budget this is your hotel (although more like a motel).

“Friendly desk staff 'inexpensive' room”

Desk staff was friendly and tried to be helpful with directions (I got lost walking from the metro station). Walls in the hall were banged up and the wall paper next to the shower was moldy. Otherwise the room was clean.

“You get what you pay for”

Secure, comfortable bed. They forgot to get me towels the second day, then couldn't find enough. They were good enough to extend me an extra day, then called four times, starting at 10 AM, demanding immediate payment for the extra day, in the next 90 minutes... I'd worked on the computer till 3 AM and was dead tired. I finally had to run down half-dressed to pay them make them shut up. Then the maids called incessantly to want to make up the room. No sleep THAT night! As I walked out, the maids were arguing loudly and obscenely. Sounded like a scene out of "BIG" with Tom Hanks. But the desk clerks were polite, the rate was cheap for the area, and everything else was full. No bed bugs, no weirdos.
