Not sure if some units are lived in. Missing lightbulbs. Screens broken. Smelled like stale cigarettes. Pillows were not made for beds. Some insects on the bed. Clumps of dirt and grass on the floor. The walkway on the second florr was spongy, rotton plywood. It was quiet though.

I liked the price. There was a lot of area in the room. The location was good for me. It is by 2 major roadways.

There were signs of age of building both inside and outside my "3rd" floor room,such a cracks in bathroom tiles and lack of upkeep on porch outside the doors. Room was quiet however.

Americas Best don't care
the Americas Best wanted to give us a room upstairs I informed them that my wife could not clime stairs that she would fall down them. the man behind the counter did not care he still insisted on giving us an upstairs room. he tried to justify it by saying there was nothing about needing a ground level room never have I ever had a problem with requesting a ground level room at check in until now with this Americas Best. He charged me more for a ground level and justified by saying he was giving us a room up grade. I will not stay at Motel again sense they don't give a crap about the handicap.

Floor in the room was sticky, the 2nd floor walkway needs to be replaced. Left key on dresser and left. Did not stay there. The police were there. Not a good sign. Got accommodations elsewhere. Close this property immediately and do a complete renovation.

property was very outdated. beds were worn and uncomfortable.
Front staff employee stared at us while we waited for check in. other person who appeared to be a employee carried in a large box of beer in front of us.

Good things: friendly staff, quiet nights, low price
Bad things: filthy sticky carpet, toilet crooked and flush doesn't work properly, luke warm shower water, the bathroom seriously needs an upgrade!

When we arrived at 3 pm, no king bed rooms with bathtub available. Had to change to 2 queen bed room. Would not allow me to rebook reservation thru hotels.com which meant I had to pay $6 more.
