"very nice stay for a couple of nights in Fairbanks"
My husband and I were very satisfied with our two nights in this Best Western. The decor was very clean and pleasing, the free breakfast was good, with lots of choices for self-serve (eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, cereals, juice, milk, yogurt, toast, pastries and even make-your-own Belgian waffles, with comfortable tables to sit down and enjoy a start to the morning). TV channel choices, supplied by GCI hotel channel line-up were not great, but we were not there to watch TV. Beds were very comfortable, with multiple pillows to use as you prefer. Our only complaint was that the room got very hot the first night, until we figured out how to turn off the heat and open the window. I, for one, prefer a bath tub, which this room did not have, but it did have a very large tiled shower. The body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty, and there was only one bar of facial soap. The room included the kind of coffeemaker that only brews one cup at a time into a paper cup, but there were plenty of coffee, sugar and creamer packets. It also had a hair dryer, small fridge, and microwave.
