“Great for the locations!!!”
This has been the third time i've stayed in this hotel, very comfortable and friendly staff to deal with. Only draw back was the resturant, I found the food to be bland and only just warm once we had reached the table from the buffet. The menu was not all too impressive for what i've experienced in other hotel of this standard, it was similar to most other cafes/resturants that were in the surrounding area although priced as 5* when the same 100yards through the mall would be half the price and warmer. facilities in the hotel were of a high standard though and it would not put me off staying here again. (although i wouldn't eat in the hotel....)
“Good Location”
The Hotel Al Manshar Rotana is a very service oriented hotel as one would expect in the middle east. The staff are very polite, attentive, thoughtful, and sincere. It is nicely located adjacent to two malls - the Al Cout mall is filled with restaurants and food while the adjacent Al Manshar mall has unique novelty stores - I recommend the Kasmiri gifts store across from Chilli's. It is also across the street from the Fahaheel Bazaar, which is filled with haggled bargains as well, gold shops, and other interesting items. The room/bed was very comfortable, the services were what one would expect from a 5-star lodging. The view from the rooftop pool is quite nice, especially at sunset. The hotel is also located at the end of Gulf Road, which takes the scenic route into the city, and is also lined with many restaurants. It is approximately 25 minutes outside of Kuwait city, which is filled with giant modern malls, seaside shopping. This is a perfect business hotel get-away and is not as remote as the Hilton, which is further north on Gulf Road. Although this is located in a high-traffic area, there is a rear access road with direct highway access.
