Solid place to stay outside the walls of Evora. Walking distance to all sites. Rooms are dated but clean. Staff helpful. Surfacing parking is free while there is a nominal chrage fior underground parking. The rooms do not have fridges. Staff offered to put ice packs in freezer, but put them in fridge. No laundry services on site. Laundry is sent off site with 24 to 48 return service. Suitable for touring Elvora.

Elevator (lift) not working. Stairs not easy for older people. Towel supply limited for 2 persons. Breakfast too expensive. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking easy. Good location near old city walls.

The room was small and the hot water didn't work properly. The breakfast service was not good as no one clean the tables and the coffee machine was not working properly.

For our needs the property was fine. It was quiet old and good to see quiet a lot of work’s happening. Definitely in need of revamp of rooms to repaint & modernise. The price reflected this. Staff we pleasant and helpful. Would of enjoyed a small selection of hot food for breakfast but was still bit to select from. Parking was good, able to park out front. Walking distance to main attractions.

The property was under renovation, fact not mentioned during the booking process. The best thing was the customer service staff, very friendly, always trying to do the best , very attencious, friendly and if best information. For a small city, a good option.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Air conditioning didn't work very well. I kept going down and telling them and they said that it was turned on, which it did not feel like it was. 10:00 a.m. empty room next to us the telephone was ringing the whole night Scaffolding covers the facade of the hotel and you look out to a dirty construction site. The hotel room itself is very tight and small. The bathroom light did not work. Do not park downstairs, it is a very tight space to try and move your car around. Parking is very hard to find in the hotel. Warning, stay away from this place.

The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. Good water pressure. The room did not have a refrigerator and the pillows were rather lumpy. Location was good. Very close to a laundry place and an excellent local chicken shop. It has a bar and snack bar on site.

The hotel is located just outside of the walled city. Convenient to walk and keep car onsite at hotel. Rooms small & clean. Hotel is older. Breakfast near lobby in morning is nice.

Not a great stay.
The room was very small and crowded with wires running all over the place to trip on. There were no glasses in the room. Only one towel per person. The toilet seat was very loose. Breakfast was poor.

It looks nice hotel. Main issues were with the bathroom. The bathroom door won't close properly. The shower wouldn't stay at one spot. We had to adjust it over and over. The shower curtain was small.

Perfect Buffet, Plenty of Parking & Pet-Friendly
ibis Hotel Évora is an excellent hotel in a prime location just outside the historic part of the city with easy parking and an excellent breakfast buffet. The offering includes various machine-poured coffee selections, boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, toast, cereal, croissant, pasteis de nata, fresh fruit, and even freshly made pancakes-on-demand. Front desk employees were kind, attentive and gracious even offering 24-hour bar service. The hotel had been updated and was well-maintained with easy stairway access and even an elevator. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to others. Note: for those bringing their family dog, there is a $15/night pet fee, and dogs are not allowed to stay alone in the room. Be prepared to bring them with you when you are going out for the day or to dine.

Good basic hotel.
Clean, well presented hotel. Short walk into town where there's plenty of places to eat. Basic room but perfectly adequate for the one night we stayed as part of a motorcycling holiday. Secure parking, with additional underground if you were prepared to pay. Good selection at breakfast.

Despite that the attention was alright, the bedrooms were terrible, one of the rooms booked smelled so bad like cigarette, they staff should have checked the room before giving it to us. Air con weren't also working properly and tolites had a bad damp smell. Overall the hotel needs renovation.

The hotel is very well located, but the bathroom did not look good or clean. The room was also dirty, but it didn't look dirty because of the dark furniture. The bedding was clean.

Good value
Ibis Evora is clean, well run and provides a good breakfast. Just outside the old city walls, so very central indeed and only about 400-500 m to the bus station. Very good value for the price.

The hotel needs renovation. There was not even a kettle or fridge in the room. As expected it was small but it looks more worn out than in the photos. Service at the reception was good though.

The room size was really far too small. I can understand if it is a airport hotel but this was in a town. I was glad we were only there for 2 evenings.

Good value and location
Stayed one night mid May with car. Good free outdoor parking. Easy walk to city centre. Room quite old but ok. Wifi worked well. Air con did not seem very efficient. Could be uncomfortable on a hot day. Did not have any meals. OK for what we paid with location and parking being a big pluses.

Short walk to historic sites The usual comfy Ibis beds Staff very helpful and welcoming The absence of Soy milk for coffee and breakfast appears a missed opportunity in that we went elsewhere. We have stayed in many Ibis properties that provide alternatives to dairy With the rising demand for dairy alternatives suggest Ibis adopt a unified approach across their property portfolio. Guests could then have certainty that this would be available

Tired hotel but still decent option
For a location outside the walled city of Evora, the Ibis is a good choice if you have a car. That said, the hotel has 25 parking spots on the grounds, so it advertises "free parking." We had to street park the first night as did many other guests. The next morning we scored a hotel spot. Be advised. The hotel is tired, and needs updating in the rooms. The breakfast/lobby area have been redone, and are very attractive. The breakfast is a wide ranging continental type. Croissants are amazing! One drawback is the presence of only one automatic coffee/espresso machine. Guests end up waiting in line; particularly when a tour bus is booked does this create a backup. Also, the wifi in our room at the end of the building was quite weak.
