“Yawn”
Mediocre. Had to wait for hotel staff to finish a private conversation before they would even acknowledge me. The place seemed clean enough, but rather run down, worn carpet and dull color. Continental breakfast began promptly at 6:00 and offered a good breakfast selection. The neighborhood is rather dingy but there was an excellent Chinese restaurant next door, the Hunan Palace (slow service but top rate food). The hotel does have lots of parking and noise level at night was minimal, access to the freeway extremely easy. All in all, I'd say slightly less than average, given the price of the room.
“Cheryl”
The person working reception had a male friend/person at the front desk who offered assistance to bring my stuff to my room. I thought this very inappropriate seeing I am female, who knows what the person really wanted. The TV in the room was not in good working order, I called the front desk who said they would send maintenance, I asked for a different room that had a better working TV, the receptionist informed me I could check out other rooms to see which one had a better working TV. I informed her it was better if she found the room and then I would move. Once she found a room that was more appropriate, the receptionist did not update the computer and around 11-12pm someone else was trying to get into my room, the new person at the receptionist desk then came to my room and informed me that he had no record of the room being rented out to me. Very much an inconvienance. However the new receptionist did appologize then and again the next morning which I thought was veery professional and smoothed over the situation. The guest laundry was out of order and the heater in the room could have used some maintenance the room was either too hot or too cold, no happy medium.
“Conveniently located”
We had been shopping all day and it was nice to check into a hotel that was close to the I5. Check in went very smoothly by friendly staff and was very helpful in finding some restaurants for us to choose from for dinner. The pool and jacuzzi was also a nice finish to the day. Area surrounding was okay. Overall a nice stay.
“Hotel close to north marina area”
OK hotel. Not many choices in the area. Good value for the price. Breakfast not great, but sufficient.
“Great hotel and room”
We enjoyed our stay very much. Your staff was excellent and especially Michael at front desk was very kind and helpful to us. Never been treated that way before. Beds were very comfortable and room neat and clean. If there was something we needed, your staff was right there to help us. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Seattle area. .
“clean & good location, but no frills - got what we paid for!”
bottle of lotion not provided - thought that was odd; I even asked a maid while she had her cart & was cleaning an adjacent room to confirm they didn't provide lotion, thinking maybe they forgot to put one in our room; Continental breakfast was good, but the room was so incredibly hot/humid w/2 waffle irons going & not enough seating, we took the food back to our room
“Would stay again”
This hotel was easy to find and very clean and nice. It was close to shopping and to downtown Everett. The only problem was the breakfast room was too crowded however that was likely due to the fact that it was the labour day long weekend.
“Good Concert Location”
The Best Western Cascadia works very well for attending events at the Comcast Arena. Take the hotel shuttle to the event and enjoy a short walk (about 5 blocks) back to the hotel. The shuttle does not run after 10:00 pm.
“Great hotel-will come back for sure!”
I have very happy with the hotel. The hot breakfast in the morning was great, and they did not run out of food. The pool is nice and it has a great hot tub too. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We are happy to have found a new hotel that we will stay in every year when we go back to this area for our soccer tournament.
“Great if you are going to concerts/events at Comcast Arena”
Went to a Sugarland Concert at the Comcast Arena and it was within easy walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful. We needed a rollaway and it was at our room within 10 minutes of checking in. The beds and room were excellent. The only thing lacking was the neighborhood. It is light industrial, and not many restaurants within walking distance. We also took a short trip (10-15 minutes) to Tulalip Casino where everyone in our group 'cashed', which was a bonus! Good shopping and good restaurants within 5 miles.
