“Much better than reviews imply”

There were a lot of negative reviews about this hotel. I found the staff friendly and helpful, arrangements for breakfast quite clear and the quality of the accommodation good for the price. Overall I have no complaints and would stay again if I need a room in that area.

“Needs must, I suppose.”

Cheapest hotel in Essex. As I was paying from my own pocket, that's all I was really interested in. I would have had breakfast which was included in the price but when I went down the room was in total darkness and nobody had explained the way breakfast worked. I had a long way to travel so didn't hang around to ask.

“Interesting Little Hotel”

The hotel itself is fine, but the staff seemed a bit clueless as to what was going on. The room was clean and well appointed but we were left to find it for ourselves after being pointed in the rough direction. Breakfast is very basic and could be better - warm orange juice and wrapped slices of processed cheese were not to my taste! Overall it was ok for a short stay.

“Note 3 (befriedigend)”

Am Empfang musste man etwa 5x klingeln bis Jemand kam. Das Hotel ist klein und die Einrichtung gute 20-30Jahre alt. Trotzdem sind wir zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Zimmer hatte einen Wasserkocher und Tee + Kaffepulver zum aufbrühen. Mit dem Bus fährt man ca. 10 Min. zum Stansted Airport.
