New York Grill Bar - Authentic American dishes such as Texas spare ribs and classic steaks served in an intimate dining area with open-plan kitchen. Open Monday to Friday for lunch and daily for dinner. Pre-booking advised. Children under 14 years not permitted.

Filini - Relaxed Italian restaurant serving traditional dishes including lasagne and stone-bake pizza, prepared using fresh Italian produce. Open for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.

TaPaell'Ya - Spanish restaurant serving tapas and paella in an open dining area in the hotel atrium. Tapas buffet and à la carte menu available. Wide selection of Spanish wines from established and new vineyards. Open for dinner Monday to Friday.

Wine Tower Bar - Atrium bar featuring a four-storey wine tower housing 4,000 bottles of wine. Guests may order food from a selection chosen from the hotel's three restaurants. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available from mid- morning until very late. From early evening, acrobatic “wine angels” retrieve bottles from the tower.

“Very Convenient and Comfortable”

We booked here as it is the only hotel that is only a short walk in to the airport for a very early start. Parking arrangements sounded ideal and lived up to expectations. Welcoming and pleasant hotel. Pool, sauna and Turkish Bath very pleasant. Dining: We were travelling to Italy so preferred not to eat Italian, regretably TaPaell'Ya was closed for the season, leaving just the New York Grill. Around 5:45pm we asked the conciererge if we could book a table, he said it was 1st come 1st served, fine. Around 8pm or so we arrived but were told that the restaurant was full - despite empty tables that we were told had been booked. We were given some convoluted explanation that they only take bookings after they are full! Nevertheless they then took our booking for 45 mins. later. We waited in the bar where the waiter made one of the best Martinis I've had - my wife enjoyed her Bloody Mary too. The meal that we eventually had was well presented and tasty. Despite the minor niggle of the restaurant booking we enjoyed our stay and would return.

“perfect for travelling to and from Stansted airport”

stayed in this hotel just before flying on a two day business trip. Helpful staff, easy parking, extremely comfortable and well equipped room. very convenient for early start at the airport.

“It Is What It Is”

Chose this hotel as it suited me for flight times in and out off Stansted. Efficient and welcoming check in staff, comfortable room, excellent soundproofing. The latter essential being so close to airport. A five minute walk takes you from terminal to reception. Didn't eat in hotel, so can't comment. One or two items in room looking a bit tired, but very clean and comfortable. Nice toiletries -- nothing fancy, but didn't seem cheap and nasty. Excellent choice if you need to use Stansted Airport.

“Very Satisfied”

Great location when flying from Stansted. Modern, shiny hotel with excellent facilities including pool and spa facilities. This was my second stay. Food in restaurants good both times and the Wine Tower with its acrobatic aerial dancers has to be seen to be beleived. Only critiscism is the very high walkways with low handrails from the lifts to the rooms on the upper floors. Not good for those with vertigo but can be avoided by using the stairs. All in all, very good.

“Nice hotel, terrible bed”

We booked a triple room but actually got a double bed plus a fold-away. Not impressed.

“Comfortable and convenient”

Although the hotel is adjacent to the airport terminal and train station, the direction signs are unfortunately of extremely poor quality, so that the first time guest may well, like me, walk much further than needed. Once located however, the check in is quick and welcoming, the rooms modern and comfortable and with modern TV and WiFi services.

Area recommendations

This is an airport hotel and not in a city. However, trains to London from the adjacent station do run every fifteen minutes and take 45 minutes.

“Good Place.”

The hotel was ideal for a night before flying. However, the restaurants are a bit expensive, and in spite of being in Essex, there was no 'real ale' on offer, which was a shame. But in every other respect it was very good.
