“Stansteds best hotel.”

Have stayed in quite a lot of hotels in the area but none beats this.

Area recommendations
Stansted village is close by with every amenity you could want.

“Stansted early morning”

This hotel is nestled in a pretty rural area, but has a shockingly unsympathetic and modern design that is quite out of place and not in keeping with the surroundings. That said - it is extremely conveniently located beside the airport - however be prepared to get woken at 4am when the flights start coming in. Their t.v. was the size of a laptop computer.

“De Salis Stansted”

Not great not as the pictures on the web suggests, large room, which was warm, comfortable bed, poor shower and my biggest pet hate no plug point by any mirrors! Also towel just left on the bed. Also hospitality tray just had loose tea bag in a basket, not very nice to see. The taxi too and from the airport was not the most punctual

“Convenient Location, Expensive but Convenient Shuttle Service”

Located close to the airport, it only takes 10 minutes to travel from the hotel to the airport. The rooms are clean and are of a good size. Our one complaint was that the price for the transfer to and from the airport wasn't advertised. It costs £3.50 per person per trip for each transfer. Having said that, the transfer service was convenient with transfers available 24 hours a day.

“DeSalis Hotel for Overnight Stay before Flight”

I booked this hotel for a quick overnight stay before an early morning flight out of Stansted. The hotel provides a shuttle direct to Stansted at a fee of £3.50 per person per ride. The shuttle service was very good even at 4 AM for the first flight of the day, the driver was very punctual. The hotel was clean and well kept. A good nights sleep and overall good experience.

“OK if you want nothing special”

Arrived at the hotel, the free car parking advertise was only for the one night and not the length of our stay which was neveer explain to us, the hotel was clean and light. The room was comfortable but the bathroom lacked a decent shower. The one thing i can say about the hotel is that it can not be faulted on food, it was excellent and at a very good price. The main let down was that we arrive 20 mins early on our flight rang the hotel to get a taxi to come pick us up, it 2.5K from the airport!!! 50 minutes and 5 phone calls later we are still waiting at the airport. The driver arrives an hour late and informs us he had only been told 10 minutes ago to come pick us up, not a happy bunny...all in all good food but wouldn't stay there again!!!!

if you not in a rush, need some where comfy with cheap good food..this is a good place...

“Great Value for your money!”

Das Hotel liegt ca. 7 Autominuten vom Flughafen London Stansted entfernt. Wer kein Auto hat, kann den Shuttle-Service zum Flughafen / Hotel für 3,50 GBP (einfach, nach Anmeldung / Anruf an der Rezeption) nutzen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, die Lage ist ruhig, das Personal nett. Um am nächsten Tag ausgeruht in den Flieger zu steigen, ist das Hotel perfekt und auch lange Anreisewege zum Flughafen entfallen. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Keine, da es ein Flughafen-Hotel ist, und der Flughafen von London ca. 45 Minuten mit dem Zug entfernt ist.

“brauchbarer Start- und Endpunkt”

Relativ neues, modernes Hotel - mit kleinem indischen und italienischen Restaurant - in unmittelbarer Nähe von Stansted Airport. Daher insbsd. als Endpunkt einer England-Reise sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings: Lage außerorts und nicht gerade top gepflegt.
