“schon beim CheckIn war ich bedient”

wir haben zwei Zimmer für 3 Erwachsene und ein Kind gebucht, aber im Hotel hatte man schlichtweg das Kind vergessen... so etwas darf nicht passieren dann das Zimmer... voll mit spinnenweben, wurde wahrscheinlich das letzte mal im Frühjahr grundgereinigt, die Dusche schimmelig... die Tassen beim Frühstück mit Lippenstiftrand... bei dem Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet das zweite zimmer war einwandfrei, aber wenn man schon im Hotel bei der Belegung der Zimmer einen Fehler macht und dann noch ein dreckiges Zimmer bekommt kann von Service keine Rede sein es gab noch nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung!

“Bestes Haus in BO aber wehe wenn billig gebucht.”

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft. Im idyllischen Stadtpark gelegen, herrlich ruhig und beschaulich, aber trotzdem nahe an der Autobahnabfahrt und das Zentrum ist fußläufig - also perfekt. Von der Ausstattung und dem Service her ist es bestimmt das beste Haus am Ort, doch wenn man Pech hat, begenet einem auch die dazu passende Arroganz. Zugegeben, durch einen "Drei-Nächte-zum-Preis-von-Zweien" Tarif war unser Aufenthalt fast "unverschämt" billig, aber deswegen möchte ich noch lange nicht als möglicher Betrüger behandelt werden. Mit gerümpfter Nase meinte die Dame am Empfang "das müsse sie erst mal prüfen, ob das so rechtens ist, dass die dritte Nacht noch nicht bezahlt sei" - sehr unprofessionell Madamme! Da war die erste Nacht für mich schon mal gelaufen (für sie allerdings auch). Das phantastische Frühstücksbuffet hat mich alleredings wieder gnädig gestimmt.

“Das Hotel Courtyard by Marriot Bochum Stadtpark liegt ruhig dir. a. Stadtpark,nahe Starlight Express”

Das Hotel fiel zum einen durch seine gute Lage (Starlight Express-Halle ist zu Fuß in max. 5-10 Minuten max. und die Innenstadt mit Fußgängerzone und sog. "Bermuda-Dreieck" als Bereich mit Kino, Bistros, Kneipen und Restaurants in 15-20 Min. locker zu Fuß erreichbar). Es liegt in ruhiger Lage in einer Sachgasse am Stadtpark. Es gibt genügend Parkmöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage (zus. 5,- EUR pro Nacht). Außerdem fielen uns besonders positiv die überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück auf. Wir können das Hotel sehr weiter empfehlen udn würden dort sofort noch einmal buchen. Einzig die (in der Nacht) in unserem Zimmer komplett abgestellte Klima- und Lüftungsanlage machte trotzdem noch Geräusche. Ein SChlafen war aber trotzdem ohne weiteres möglich.

Area recommendations
Hattingen: wunderschöne Kleinstadt mit winzigen Gassen und alten Fachwerk-Häusern lohnte den Ausflug wirklich. Einfach entspannt einen Kaffee oder ein Bier in einem der zahlreichen kleinen Cafes oder Kneipen in der Fußgängerzone genießen!

“Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Guter Autobahnanschluss.”

Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Im Hotel kann man sehr gut Essen (Restaurantangebot), wobei die Preise entsprechend etwas höher sind. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Am Abend schließt die Bar gegen 24:00 Uhr.

“Hotel gut. Frühstück naja”

Ich war zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Leider gibt es keine Minibar. Wenn man eine Flasche Wasser möchte, muss man dafür zur Rezeption. Was mich jedoch sehr gestört hat: Wenn ich 16€ für ein Früstück bezahle, gehe ich davon aus, dass ich gewisse Auswahl beim kaffee habe z. B. Cappucchino und dass ich mich nicht mit Kaffee aus der Thermoskanne zufrieden geben muss. Bei dem Preis kann man das denke ich schon erwarten.

“Das Hotel liegt 10 Geh-Minuten vom Starlight-Theater entfernt.”

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Stadtpark und in einer absoluten ruhigen Lage. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der einzige Kritikpunkt: man muß das Personal stets nach der Getränkekarte fragen, wenn man nicht einfach nur ein Pils trinken möchte. Ansonsten fahre ich bestimmt wieder hin.

“Das Hotel am Rande des Bochumer Stadtparks in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend.”

Das Hotel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Zimmer, Rezeption, Service, Frühstück, alles tipptop. Das einzig Störende war ein Dauergeräusch in unserem Zimmer (Nr. 201), das am sehr frühen Morgen auftrat. Wahrscheinlich Lüftung im Bad.

“Waren im Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Bochum Stadtpark wegen Starlight Express”

Sehr einladentes Hotel. Sehr sauber im Zimmer wie auch im Hotel allgemein. Geräumiges Bad mit Dusche und Wanne in einem. Freundliches Personal die auch auf unsere persönlichen Wünsche eingingen und auch Vorschläge hatte um Freizeit in Bochum zu gestalten. Hotel liegt ca. 500m vom Musical entfernt also nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Direkte Parkplätze sind am Hotel vorhanden (Tiefgarage). Empfehle das Hotel aufjedenfall weiter waren sehr zufrieden.

“Sehr gepflegtes, kleines Hotel in Musical-Nähe”

Das Hotel ist ein kleines, eher familiäres Haus, nicht so ein Riesenbunker, in dem man sich verläuft. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war lecker und das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig. Man kann zu Fuß sowohl das Musical "Starlight Express" als auch das Planetarium, einen Tierpark und Gastronomie innerhalb von 5 bis 10 min. erreichen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen, nur ein Schwimmbad oder Sauna wären noch besser gewesen ;-) Danke für einen schönen Urlaub

Man kann sein Auto im hauseigenen Parkhaus unterstellen. Dies befindet sich ein Stück weiter links vom Haupteingang und ist vom Hotel aus mit dem Aufzug direkt erreichbar (man muß also theoretisch garnicht raus in die Kälte :-))
