“I liked it - will you too?”
Good location in a fairly quiet part of the Medina but just a short walk to most things. In setting up the Riad, the owners have kept most of the original features such as big old wooden doors, windows and balcony railings giving it an old world rustic charm.
I'd read some previous reviews saying it was hard to find so I hired a cart man at the bus station to guide me there. It's not too difficult though with good directions. Try following these (from the Supratours bus station)
With the ticket office door behind you, you will be facing the medina walls (cannons pointing at you) Walk towards the wall and turn left onto the path and follow the walls all the way around till you reach the entry gate (bab sba) Pass through the gate and go straight ahead till you reach a right turn followed immediately by a left turn. Continue ahead to a plaza opening on the left. There are a few cafes with open air dining. Turn right here and immediately left again. Straight ahead again to the 2nd lane on the right. The Riad is half way along this lane on the right hand side. I hope that's helpful :)
