I stayed at this hotel for a week whilst on business. It was perfect for my needs, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Its not in a central location, but the lake path gave me access to early morning running, the restaurant is great - i ate there every night, and the pool and sauna round it off nicely.
Definitely recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again.
A quiet and well apportioned hotel a short walk from the centre of Espoo and the railway station and shopping centre. Large rooms with small balcony, large bathroom and decent sized desk to work at. No tea/coffee making facilities, but free wireless internet. The pool was surprisingly large if a little cool and adjacent to clean and bright sauna facilities. The restaurant menu is reasonably small but adequate, and the portions are very generous representing good value for money. Good for a business stopover.
This was a short business trip and the hotel offered exactly what I needed: friendly staff, prompt service (fabulous breakfast buffet which was included), a smart, clean room with a spotless bathroom; and the restaurant had a small menu but was very tasty and the salad was v-e-r-y fresh. I'd stay here again if I have to visit that same customer again. Everyone spoke excellent English, and there was plenty of parking.
Very nice, comfortable, well-managed, clean hotel with very accommodating and helpful bilingual staff. Staff is sensitive and proactive about addressing any issues no matter how slight, conveying an attitude of genuine interest in the comfort and well-being of the guest. Breakfast buffet every morning is plentiful and sufficiently diverse to create a proper and personally customized experience. Location of the hotel is very convenient for one wishing to visit Helsinki - just a 20 minute bus ride. You don't need a vehicle as the bus stops are right across the parking lot. One of the best features of the hotel is that it is quiet enough to allow for a good night's sleep every night.
I chose this hotel based on closeness to the city without having to pay city centre prices. It has a lovely peaceful location on a wooded peninsula. Initially I wasn't sure that I had found the right building as the signs referred to a Finnish Swedish Cultural Centre which indeed it is, set up as a hotel and conference centre. I travelled there by bus from Kamppi bus station in Helsinki which takes less than 10 minutes along the motorway heading west towards Espoo. The stop for Hanasaari can be a little hard to spot for a first time visitor so it is worth asking the bus driver to point it out.

"Budget hotel in natural setting close to Helsinki"
I loved this hotel, which was comfortable and in a lovely wooded setting on a small lake and a short walk to a large water park. I got a great price on Expedia so I didn't mind the long bus ride to Helsinki's city center (though it's better to have a rental car if you stay here). The staff were friendly and professional and the hotel has a GREAT restaurant. I was surprised by how good my meal was (I ordered the 3 course chef's special) and the price was reasonable. There is also a small deli next to the reception area which has a variety of very good foods and beverages and I believe it's open 24/7. The free breakfast each morning was outstanding and the free internet usually worked very well. So, overall this was a great choice and I plan to stay here when I'm in Helsinki.
