“A Nice PLlace To Stay”

This is an adults only hotel - nice to have freedom from children some times. The hotel generally was really clean and spotless. The service from all the staff was excellent - nice to see staff smiling. The standard of food was also excellent and the surrounding gardens were nicely maintained. There is a large-ish swimming pool but my biggest complaint is that the water was so cols that hardly anyone ever used it - the sea temperature was warmer! The nearby beaches are good. There is very little beach directly in front of the hotel but a few minutes walk to the east is a long family beach and a few minutes wals to the west is the general beach and the clothes-optional beach. Altogether a really nice place at which to stay.

We enjoyed the hotel's sea front location, and our room's sea-view and the high quality and variety of the restaurant food.

“Lush hotel!”

This hotel was amazing. The people who worked there were lovely, there was entertainment everynight, they offered pilates and excercise classes at 10:30am most mornings and the food (we had half board) was excellent. What a range of things to choose from!! The beaches are on your doorstep and there is a little supermarket just down the road. It was wonderful to stay at a child free hotel - I would highly recommend! The only down side was that Sant Thomas is very small and not much to do there except chill on the beach and go for walks (which was perfect for us) The bus stop to Mao and Citudella is out the front of the hotel, but was VERY busy and lots of people missed out on seats. Line up at the bus stop early! One last note regarding airport transfers. There is not hotel shuttle bus and a taxi costs around 30-40euros on way. You cold catch a bus to Mao then another to the airport, but there are only 6 or 7 buses a day and more than likely wont line up with your departure times. We caught the bus TO the hotel when we were not in a hurry but taxi back.

“Perfect beach holiday”

The town (if you can call it that) of Santo Thomas is a perfect place to go if you want a true escape from reality. There are endless stretches of beautiful beach, which are right outside the hotel. The hotel is adults only, which was a deciding factor for us. The common areas and pool were always very peaceful and relaxing. Santo Thomas seems to be a magnet for parents of small children, so you really noticed the chaos when walking by the other resorts. The food at the hotel was good, especially compared to some of the restaurants in the area. I would recommend booking at least two meals a day with the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Each room has a balcony with a sea view, which was great for relaxing in the evenings. The hotel does have nightly entertainment, but it seemed geared towards the retiree crowd. We usually did our own thing in the evening.

“Pleasent and pleaceful Hotel, definitely recommend.”

Flights were on time and with friendly staff onboard (Monarch) and the Hotel Sol Menorca was Fantastic, room were clean Staff very helpful and friendly and the area was quite and restful, we had an amazing time and would like to return. Spoke to a german couple who had been 25 times, I can now see why. we rented a car so had the freedom of the island, Mahon was a really nice place and the harbour boat ride is a must, local are friendly. Came back recharged and now waiting for my next visit.

“Hotel Sol Mernorca - Santo Tomas”

My wife and I had a fatastic relaxing break at this hotel. The room was as expected for a four star hotel. Clean, spacious enough, plenty of storage, safety deosit box, TV, mini fridge included and a balcony with a sea view. No complaints about the food either. We stayed on half board basis and found a good selection available for breakfast and evening meal. Pleasant grounds and pool with pool-side bar and snacks available. The hotel also has a pleasant bar for the evenings and reasonale entertainment was provided free of charge each night. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel or resort for teenagers or young adults but it's perfect for those that want a quiet relaxing break.

“SOL MENORCA S.TO THOMAS - A DUE PASSI DAL MARE”

Hotel gradevolissimo, in cui eravamo già stati, con tutte le comodità a portata di mano, affacciato sul mare, personale amichevole e disponibilissimo. Mare stupendo con calette raggiungibili a piedi veramente splendide. Cucina varia e di buon livello. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

“Ve lo consiglio”

l'hotel è molto bello, tranquillo ed è situato in posizione ideale per girare l'isola. Il personale è simpatico e disponibile. Si mangia bene e il buffet è davvero ben fornito. Le bibite della cena non sono incluse.
