Pros: It was on Peach Street. The pool was nice. Affordable. Nice rooms, generally.
Cons: Cleaning standards could be improved: remove dirty cups, check under bed for debris. And always provide hot water for showers.
Location: Erie, PA has tons of things to do, including Splash Lagoon, swimming, boating on Presque Isle. Also bike riding, kite flying, and many restaurants.
My hotel stay gave me an experience I'd never had in my entire life: a cold shower. On the day we were to check out, there was NO hot water! Also, I've never stayed in a hotel where the coffeepot wasn't emptied. And to add to our displeasure, my husband found an empty water bottle under his bed. What are the standards of cleaning at this hotel? On the plus side: the room size was adequate, the room temperature was adjustable to our liking, and the children enjoyed the pool.

A wonderful family atmosphere.

Pros: The room size was great. The closet space was enormous. There was a regular nice size pool, and a heated pool that was never too crowded.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing except the bathroom sink should be in the bathroom, I have never been a fan of the bathroom sink connecting to the bedroom.
Location: You name the eating establishment, and it was there at least 50 within 1 mile. Splash Lagoon was across the street.
My two grandchildren loved the room and the two pools. The staff was eager to please us. The room and the bathroom was very appealing, they wreaked of cleanliness. There was plenty of parking and the nearby eating establishments were abundant.

Nightmare before Bedtime

Posted 25-Jul-2014
Pros: The attendant on duty was extremely nice and very accomodating.
Cons: Clean sheets. No odors. Rooms ready for guests.
Location: did not need anything to do nearby
It took 2 hours to attempt to check in. Two of the three rooms smelled like sewer. The third room was first not what we were told it was to be. When we were sent to an alternate room , the furniture the turned over on the floor and bed was obviously not made. When given another alternate room the sheets had not been changed. We were finally upgraded to a site at the newer hotel across the street and promised a complete refund.

Nice for a good price

Pros: The indoor pool, sauna and hot tub were nice and seemed clean. Towels were well provided.
Cons: We would have preferred two double beds.
Location: Many attractions nearby. Near enough to Erie.
The room was smaller than we thought. They accommodated for three adults, but we assumed that we would have two double beds. Instead we had a king and a roll-away.

Our bathroom door wouldn't lock, our a/c didn't work well, breakfast was horrible. I was telling the attendant when checking out of our horrible stay and he didn't even apologize.

Good value

Posted 12-Jun-2014
Pros: Value
Cons: Beds were not comfortable at all. Long hairs were found in the bathroom. Check-in person did little more than grunt upon arrival.
Location: Close to Route 90. Water park next door and close to Peach Street restaurants and business. A very nice Erie zoo is nearby.
On a business trip and motel was handy to where I needed to be.

Graduation stay-over

Posted 09-Jun-2014
Pros: overall clean; quiet; excellent breakfast; access to pool and sauna. Also within short driving distance to local mall and other facilities; I-90 acces
Cons: Getting into and out of the parking lot.
Location: Located right off of I-90; plenty of resturants in the area; Splash Lagoon across the street; Casino at next exit going East. Mall is just two miles .
Booked the rooms thru Expedia and they handled everything....check-in and check-out were smooth and no problem. Quite surprised by the ease of the whole transaction. I lived in this city for 40+ yrs but never had the need to stay at a local motel. This was a truly excellent experience. Our party consisted of my wife; myself; daughter and granddaughter...the motel managed to get us adjoining rooms without having to ask.
