“Okay for money paid”

The room was how we expected it. It was nice for a one night stay. I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended amount of time. We didn't eat the free breakfast because all it consisted of was donuts, coffee, and orange juice.

“Red Carpet Inn Emporia”

Well, you get what you pay for. Not a posh motel by any means. But, at least it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The continental breakfast turned out to be common store-bought donuts and coffee. So if you are not too fussy about accomodations, this place is OK. But for a bit more, you might get better surroundings in a LaQuinta for instance.

“Would not stay here again :(”

The bathroom was dirty, there were footprints on the window and the room just appeared worn. The location to the interstate was great. This was a late night stop over on a long trip! The continental breakfast was a pot of coffee and a covered dish with donuts.

“Virginia trip 2010”

I selected the motel because it had a swimming pool, but they were just starting to fill it when we arrived, so it was not ready to use. We were disappointed because we just drove almost 12 hours and wanted to cool off, so we ended up staying in the room with the a/c on to stay cool. The people were very nice that ran it though.

“Very Sad”

The rooms were shabby, the beds were worn out (beyond normal), the shower fixture was about to come through the wall, I was praying that the pipe didn't break before we could get out. The bathroom was disgusting as far as cleanliness. And one not to management "Little white powdered doughnuts and a cup of coffee doesn't make a continental breakfast". (free or not)

“Horrible hotel”

Absolutely the worst, dirty hotel oi have ever seen. I don't understand how owners can keep this dump open or have any pride in their business.

“Nightmare Stay”

I had never experienced a place such as this before. This motel was very dirty. The pillows and the sheest smelled so incredibly bad I had to go out and buy my own. Next time, I much rather sleep in my car at a rest stop.

“NEVER!!”

This was the only hotel available during a hurricane, FOR A REASON! shut it down, shut it down! and is it really that hard for the employees to be nice?
