“Would definitely recommend”

I was thrilled with this hotel. I was just passing through Elko and it was the first time I stayed there. The hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and nice. I was traveling with a dog and that was easy too. I would definitely stay there again.

“The center of activities...”

For me the Red lion offered convenience to and from the highway. While the hotel is a bit dated, the rooms were clean and attended to promptly. The food is excellent at both the cafe and the restaurant.

“Good Value, clean and great food.”

Conventiently located, clean however....the casino area does smell of smoke. Rooms appeared to be recently updated with furnishings and TV was flat screen with good channel selection. Food was very good at the lounge. Good overall value.

“Not For NonSmoker”

The rooms still smelled like smoke even though there is some separation of the casino to the rooms but no door so smoke travels to all rooms. Not a good hotel for children and non-smokers.

“Great little hotel/casino”

I enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion. The room (standard two queen beds) was large and really nice, including a porch and a nice large desk. The casino was fairly small and quiet, but they had a live band that night so it was fun to hang out for a few hours. Overall a good place to stay if you're travelling through Elko like I was.
