"When visiting Chicago, we always turn to the Silversmith to host us during a fun weekend! The complimentary drinks and easy access to transportation is the key factors making us love this hotel. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Room was small but considering when the hotel was built it makes sense. It was clean and well cared for. I’m not used to being in a hotel that the lobby is not on the main floor so coming and going was odd to not see a front desk area. But still felt safe and secure as there was always someone at valet or a concierge in the entrance. Parking is very expensive. $65 per night. I have no idea where my vehicle was parked but I got it back in the same condition I handed it over in. Our room was labeled as sleeps two and was booked for two yet we only had one bath towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth. No floor towel for getting out of shower. Had to call for more. I find this in convenient. Where our room was located the hallway was very quiet. But the hotel is located near a hospital and there are sirens blaring at all hours. We got used to it. It didn’t bother us. Loved that Starbucks was right across the street! We would stay again. "
