“Excellent service, very friendly staff and very comfortable stay”

For the price we paid this was a really fantastic stay. The staff were very professional and friendly on arrival and all through our stay. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished and alot of effort had gone into this. The furnishings were modern without being garish and there were lots of nice touches that picked up on the local heritage. The beds were really comfy an although the room was a little small, it had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and alot of thought had gone into making the menu healthy, tasty and offering local produce. We were up for a wedding at another hotel nearby, but said were we to have the opportunity to visit Elgin again we would definitely stay at 8 Acres. An added bonus was the pool/sauna/jacuzzi.

“Hotel Okay”

Hotel not too bad for a hotel in that price category and I was only staying one night. Had a slight problem with the attitude of one of the bar staff however when I complained to the management it was sorted out to my satisfaction. Would stay again but wouldn't be my first choice in the Elgin area

“Gutes Hotel wenn Preis reduziert”

Es lohnt sich in diesem Hotel einzuchecken allerdings darf man nicht zu viel erwarten. Über Expedia gab es allerdings 30% Rabbat so das das Preis-leistungs Verhältnis gut war.

Traveller's tip
Sehenswertes in Elgin: Museum (das älteste in Schottland,Kathedrale. Elgin ist eine sehr gute Basisstation für die umliegenden Schlösser sowie Whiskey trail. Zudem ist man schnell in den Cairngorms oder Highlands. Distanzen Auto: Dufftown 45 min. Inverness 1h, Tamitoul 1,5 h.
