Over the years have experienced numerous luxury hotels and the Grant stands out as one of the best. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, it's staff's attentiveness, and well appointed room. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away while in the midst of the city.
As I said when we checked out, I never Yelp, but this hotel made me want to. Other then the parking charge I felt that the hotel was amazing. They upgraded our room to a Suite on the 10th floor. The hallways, the elevator and the room were really cool. We felt we stepped back in time to a more classy day. Sadly we didn't know about the rooftop garden until the morning but it made coffee even better. The noise level on the streets stayed a little loud until the clubs closed down BUT it was bearable and to be expected based you were located right in the middle of the fun. The bathtub was super sweet!! I loved the pedicab that took us to the waterfront for dinner. (actually one of the highlights of our trip) and the walk back was pleasent. all in all, the place was awesome!!

Hotel is walking distance to Little Italy farmer's market, Gaslamp quarter, Maritime museum ships and public transport. We did not have to rent a car for the stay - parking is expensive in the area.
Celebrated me and my boyfriends anniversary here. Loved the hotel! Gorgeous pool area and room. Called to ask if I could check in early and Joe was working at the front and was so accommodating and was such a great way to start our stay.
