"Fantastic Secluded Resort"
The Cove is absolutely amazing, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a laid back, relaxed, secluded vacation where you do nothing all day but lay on one of two beautiful beaches or by the pool, or occasionally go in for a dip or snorkeling or kayaking. This is not a big corporate resort with a ton of organized activities. The closest "town" is a mile south and has a small shop or two worth going to, and a few miles to the north is Glass Window Bridge and some nice beaches and views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean. Those are nice. But the main draw here is the peace, quiet, simplicity, and beauty of this awesome spot on Caribbean. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff is super friendly, and the food at the restaurant is great. But, as nice as the rooms are, the real draw here are the two small beaches and the pool, the green grass and palm trees, the calm sea, and the peace and quiet. This is a great place to get away from everything, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a few days of peace and quiet.
One word on the restaurant--yes, it is expensive. But, there are plenty of expensive restaurants that don't have a wow factor. Here, at the very least the food is great and definitely has the wow factor, and you will not feel cheated. If you want to save some bucks on food, as I did, pick up a bottle of rum and some mixers for your room, bring some granola bars for breakfast, and head to the Laughing Lizard for a lunch or two.
