We stayed at this hotel during the Jerez Moto GP weekend. Location was good, just away from the centre but close enough to see everything with a short walk. Only down side was it was hard to get served a drink in the bar when seated outside, and most of the time it was quicker to go to the bar yourself. But overall very good.

Only real issue for English speaking guest was only one English language T.V. station. Our room had no view, this was the same for several rooms, that said lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful receptionists. Good location with free on street parking outside, pay parking beneath hotel.

The hotel is situated right on the marina front and is an excellent starting point for beaches, city visits, walking around the area or just spending time around the Marina. The staff were friendly and willing to help organize various elements such as cycle hire, Bodega visit and hair dresser. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance and whilst you do need a taxi on occasions, you do not need a car. We would strongly recommend this hotel and area for a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday. We certainly aim to visit again. You can walk right to Puerto Santa Maria in about 45 minutes on the coast path, passing two beaches and cafes and a very nice restaurant. If you feel like some fitness work there are some street apparatus available on the walk and they work well. Thankyou for a very pleasant holiday were you are made to feel very welcome.

We ended up in an apartment so had a small kitchen & 2 bedrooms which we didn't need. But there was a washing machine which we took advantage of. No instructions on how to use it but all was ok in the end. No dryer so just draped our items over chair backs . Grounds, garden, pool & patio areas were very nice. People in the apt above were a little noisy but we still had a good sleep. Buffet breakfast very nice too. Reception staff was very helpful. No bars or restaurants really close to the hotel; we ate dinner at the hotel & had a decent meal.
Once you find this place, it is a pleasant change from hotels, with a sitting-room and fully-equipped kitchen. There is a small supermarket just down the street opposite the entrance, open when other shops are closed. The town has a large, interesting church, a small but elegant castle and a number of museums. There is a boat service to Cadiz, but this was not running in winter after a bad storm. Cadiz is 40 minutes by local train and Jerrez much closer - Cadiz 4 Euros day return and Jerez 1.15 Euros single (both with Tareja Dorada). Note that everything closes on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday - plan your visit accordingly.

Close to Jerez de la Frontera, the port of Santa María has flourished from the export of sherry and, like its neighbour, features several famous bodegas, open to visitors. There is a small whitewashed old town, an historic bullring and a castle to explore. The port is also home to a fishing fleet, and there are good beaches to either side of town. Nearby is a new marina-resort, Puerto Sherry.
