“terrible hotel”

Small room, black footprint on bed, no iron, elevator broken, room heater did not work, one shampoo and bar of soap, toilet paper roll almost empty, hair on the bathtub, breakfast not enough for anyone.

“Not impressed.”

Room was not made up the day after our first night. I had to make sure that they did it after that. The fourth night the alarm went off and the elevator (we were on the third floor) did not work until the next day (I guess because we left very early on Sunday).

“Nightmare Experience!”

We phoned the hotel to get detailed instructions on how to get there...several times. The night clerk on duty gave us the wrong instructions... kept sending us the wrong way! After over two hours of traveling in the wrong direction and finally getting directions from a gas station attendant (you can't find this hotel on a map) we finally got there. Our room was dirty and the water did not drain well out of either our sink or bath tub... making it so that only one of us could get cleaned up. Our wake up call was over 10 minutes late and the whole reason for staying there was to catch a flight very early in the morning. The bed cover made a loud noise every time someone moved... waking each other up... making it nearly impossible to get any sleep at all. This has to be the worst hotel experience I've ever had in 58 years of life. I would not recommend going here to anyone for any reason.

Area recommendations

I will stay at a hotel closer to the hotel if I ever have to fly again... this hotel's location was very hard to find and extremely inconvenient.

“Enjoyable stay”

The hotel was very adequate, though not luxurious. The pool was nice and the staff was friendly and courteous and the room was clean and well maintained.

Area recommendations

I don't really have a particular area of El Paso that stands out.. My tastes are probably not average. This hotel is a bit far out of town but that didn't create a problem for me.

“Quaint but clean”
