“Nice hotel”
I was only there for work and stayed only 2nts. But staff was very polite and helpful and the room was very clean.
“Needs to work on the Customer Service”
I was really happy with the hotel when I got there. I was booked for two nights and was conformed that when I checked in. I was called on what was my 2 day there and was told I had been checked out but housekeeping noticed my stuff was still there. I told them I had a copy of my Expedia conformation and I was booked for two nights. The manager proceed to tell me I had to fix this with Expedia and if I didn't get this fixed she would charge my credit card for the 2nd night. (She was rude) I called Expedia and the guy was super nice and helped with with his matter for 45 minutes. After he talk to a different manager at the Hotel they realized a Hotel employee had check me out without me going down there an checking out. So in reality it was the Hotels fault not Expedia's. I informed the nice manager it would have been nice if the manager who called me got her facts straight instead of just repeating her self that she would charge my card and wasting 45 minutes of my time I could of spent with my family instead of being on the phone with Expedia when it wasn't there fault. I was all for staying there next time and had even told my family it was a great Hotel. It a great Hotel I just wasn't happy about the service I got. I did talk to a higher up manager when I check out she said she would look into it and call me but I never heard back from them. My biggest thing is customer service with out that you lost me as a customer.
“Recently renovated hotel in Downtown El Paso”
The hotel is located in Downtown El Paso, very close to Interstate 10 but also within walking distance of the U.S.-Mexico border. It has been renovated almost completely, so it looks like a new hotel. There are places where the building's age can be seen (e.g. the slowness of the elevators, the look of the pool area, the parking lot, etc.) but overall, it has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is decent for the price, and parking is free. The rooms have flat-screen TVs. Downtown El Paso is not the most lively place, but there are things to do in the area. Overall, it was a good stay at a good hotel.
“Nice one”
The hotel is very nice, modern and new. Room service is very good, try the banana dessert and the nachos! I wasn't impressed with the food at the Fire restaurant on the street level floor.
“The Best hotel to be found in El Paso”
Very nice Hilton / Doubletree standards. Only downside is that like all El Paso hotels, there is just no getting away from the din of Interstate 10.
“Perfect for travelers that like downtown”
Great hotel choice. Efficient and friendly and helpful staff. Blocks from Union Station and the bridge to Juarez. Across the street is the museum of history, museum of science, and 1 block from the art museum and theater cultural center. Free shuttle will take you to local restaurants and driver will chat the area's history and culture. We took a cab for a local tour to skyline drive, the cable car tramway, Juarez bridge border area, New Mexico state line, photos of the Rio Grande river and more, for $65 for over an hour. Shuttle is also free to/from the airport.
“Comfort in El Paso”
The room was just wright for my needs, the front desk (all of them) nothing but nice and happy faces. the restaurant Fire, good food and the servers must be on happy pills, just nice people. parking was easy, and I am going back in 2 months and will stay there again, Also the 7th floor has the pool and terrece, NICE....white fluffly cushions. sittin outside is 99 degree temp but felt like a cool 85. Smokin a cigar and talikng to whoever was there, Having a nice cool bev...rate this place a 9.5
“DoubleTree”
The pillows are a bit wimpy and soft...but everything else...top notch. Drinks by the pool, nice lounge, close to some taverns. Decent walking distance restaurants close by...very good experience.
“what a wonderful hotel, i love it”
the hotel is so comfortable and elegant, i love it, i expended one night there to celebrate my birthday with some friends and the swimming pool is really nice, at night the clubs are really near from the hotel so we went out walking and have fun there. the only thing i did not like it was the personal in the front desk when i made the check in, he was really unfriendly, but all the other staff were really nice and friendly with us.
“R&R Vacation from Afghanistan :)”
I loved the hotel :) It was clean, quiet and professional. They have a parking garage for the guests so you don't have to worry about parking. The parking garage is a little cramped but it beats having to walk a block or so from your hotel. You have the convenience of it being part of the hotel. Room service cleans everyday, and they never missed my wake up calls :) It's downtown so I was able to go to some nice restaurants and it's next to the convention center. I went to see Gabriel Iglesias perform and it was fun :) Overall, I loved this hotel! I've traveled a lot and I would stay here again without hesitation. 5stars for me. Hope that helps you decide what hotel you want :)
