Not bad for the $$

Posted 23-Oct-2011
Conveniently located just off Hwy 8 and Imperial Ave. Not a great neighborhood and I wouldn't advise wandering around at night. Motel was very busy, but suprisingly quiet. "Hot breakfast" barely worth mentioning. It will make you long for a McDonalds and thankful for the Dennys across Imperial Ave. Room was clean and staff friendly. Considering all; I'd recommend it for convenience and value.

Could be better in El Centro

Posted 29-Aug-2011
This hotel was right off the highway and easy access to get to but the hotel rooms could use a good update. The rooms needed a new paint job and some updates in appearence. The free breakfast was lacking in choices and no juice was available.

Good value

The room and amenities compared favorably to sustantiallly more expensive places. The inclufedbreakfast was individually cooked eggs, potatoes and toast with sausage or bacon.

Good travel hotel, great value

Posted 07-Aug-2011 on Hotels.com
Good price, comfortable bed, kitchenette (in some rooms?), fairly modern. Pictures on hotel.com are accurate as of this posting. I only had 3 minor issues: 1) The room was clean except for two small cockroaches, but this is a common problem during the summer rainy season in the desert. 2) I like having a door chain or similar. It did have a manual deadbolt in the electronic lock. 3) The peep hole had been painted over in my particular room, but there was a sturdy window next to the door. The hotel could easily correct/add these. In case it matters to you, there are no elevators (there are only two floors). Overall a good place to rest during travel, especially for the money.

Excellent Place For Short Stays Just off the I-8

Posted 26-Jul-2011 on Hotels.com
This was a perfect stop on a long road trip to California. We got a good nights rest following last minute reservations at about 9pm at Hotels dot com on the drive in and at 1am the next morning we were checking in. For the price we got a great room right off the I-8. We overslept and missed breakfast so we cant comment on that but there was a Denny's right across the street where we ate and jumped back on the I-8 with ease. To our surprise it had a small refrigerator and microwave which was not expected considering our last minute reservation.

Old School-Good place to stay

Posted 10-Jul-2011 on Hotels.com
Staff seem helpful and kind but limited in Big City culture. Tough on Parking Gym does not open until 8 so if you are an early riser it does not work. Room is clean, nice bed, bathroom light noisy. Free Breakfast the eggs were good pancakes were tough to eat. Overall, I would stay here again based on my needs.
