“Inspiring Scenery !!”

Yes, I can truly say that this hotel has a marvelous view of the city of El Calafate and Lake Argentina. Surrounded by amazing lanscapes of mountains and ice capped mountains. The best part is having breakfast and enjoying this view and getting inspired by nature.

Area recommendations
Recommend taking a City Tour to visit the hieroglyphics, museum and a few other locations such as the boardwalk and Kirschners home and hotel...
What to pack
El Calafate is a necessary stop to go visit the Perito Moreno glaciar located about 80kms away. Although in december thru april its considered summer time, the weather is rather cold. Strong winds from the Patagonia reduce further the temperatures at night. Therefore, very important to take hats, gloves, sweaters, thermal underware, special socks, warm jackets (polar recommended) and a backpack with a spare scarf or waterproof jacket in case of rain, hale or snow storm. Truly an impressive glaciar where one can take many pictures from different angles and even take a large catameran close up.

“Exceelent place to stay”

The service from the momenet we enetered the hotel , very attentive and helpful re garding tours etc. Very comfortable and extensive breakfast i would stay there again

“Patagonias Park¨s Hotel excellent opcion”

Patagonia Park Hotel y el servicio de expedia. com fue excelente. Se lo recomiendo a todos los viajeros. Responsables, capacidad de respuesta inmediata, facilidad en el pago , cumplio todas las expectativas de mi familia que fuimos a conocer El Calafate. Se los recomiendo...EXCELENTE y PRECIOSO!!!

“Fantastic place to stay”

We had a marvellous time at El Calafate and particularly at the Patagonia Park Plaza. The hotel is magnificent and the staff is the best I have met in a long, long time. Just 10 minutes walk to the city centre but safe and enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you are planning a visit. By theway, thank you all at Patagonia Plaza for making our trip so enjoyable!

Traveller's tip
Las tablitas is a great parrilla specialising in Patagonic lamb. No doubt if you are in El Calafate you should visit!

“A very good hotel”

People is very friendly and took care about everything that we asked. The hotel has a beautiful view, is a little bit far to the town, but it is a walking distance and cups fare is very low.

“great place to stay. our of the main steam downtown, have to walk 10+ minutes to resturants etc.”

very nice, not a place to see backpackers like us in. was our treat for the trip and it was. 3 great nights. the glaciers, the wine store just down from the bus station made this a place to want to go back to. make sure you eat a calafate berry :)

do not miss the wine store 1/2 block west from the bus station . great people: have wine tastings every friday night. and of course do not miss the glaciers. take a side trip to el chalten and do the hikes. you wont be sorry

“Un bon choix”

C'est la qualite Kempinsky donc il n'y a pas grand-chose a redire : c'est propre, le personnel est efficace. En revanche, il est un peu excentre par rapport a l'avenue centrale d'El Calafate (ou il y a tous les restau et les agences d'excursion) et il n'y a pas de navette. Mais cela n'etait pas vraiment un probleme dans la mesure ou cela ne representait que 15mn de marche et toutes les agences d'excursion viennent chercher les participants dans les hotels respectifs.

“Excellent hôtel”

Très bon hôtel à 15 minutes à pied du centre.Moderne, chambres spacieuses. Par contre le restaurant ne fonctionne pas.
