This property is barely a three-star property and is very much overpriced for what it provides. It is in desperate need of modernization and updates to compete for even half the $220 that I paid.

Foi uma estadia razoável mas não voltaria ao hotel. Colchões e almofadas não são muito confortáveis, fiquei preso dias vezes no elevador e a qualidade da comida do restaurante e bar é mediana. Café da manhã razoável.

The workers are really kind and helpful, they helped me find a last minute tour. The room was clean and the food in the restaurant is good. The only thing I didn’t love was the condition of the place, it might need some maintenance and renovation. But overall I would recommend a stay here.

This is no way this property is 4 stars 4 stars the room was terrible unsafe. Very dirty. For the money we spent to stay there was a waste. Lovely hotel, staff is amazing. Helped us with booking our tours, dinner reservations, taxis everything. The shuttle takes you to town less than 10 min ride. Hotel is very clean, spacious rooms, nice breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay here

Friendly and clean but location was a factor
The staff was friendly and helpful but the lack of air conditioning made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Also, the location outside of town made it more difficult to enjoy the town of El Calafate.

Beautiful hotel
Views are fantastic. The staff is outstanding and very friendly, always willing to help. The rooms could be better, as well as breakfast. Overall really enjoyed staying here and would recommend.

Location was a bit out of the way. Town is very small and we were about 2 km away. It would be nice if they had a shuttle. Also, no room service. I should have read the fine print. Staff was ok.

A long way out of town and shuttle runs only at night. Good service over wise though out of the way location. Good restaurant and bar

I've been three times in this hotel and always enjoying. Good staff, good food but please do not kill us from the morning by a loud music. It so annoying in almost every places - hotels, restaurants, cafes. It should be eventually as a quite nice sound on the background not shocking experience form the early morning.

Nice hotel, be mindful of its location.
The hotel was really nice, clean and service provided was excellent. The breakfast was included and it was really good. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but they provide an hourly shuttle (otherwise taxis cost around 100 pesos).

Great stay --- the hotel is very clean, friendly, and provides excellent service. It is about 25kms from the airport, and taxis charge about $30USD for a transfer (July 2017). The hotel is also outside of the town center, but there are shuttles after 5PM every hour. Prices do fluctuate quite a bit here, so do your due diligence and to ensure you're getting the best price.

Great hotel, staff were great and the bed was huge. Its slightly out of the main centre of town however there is a free shuttle that runs into the very centre in the evenings.

A woman staff is good at English, which is really helpful. But, sometimes they made mistakes for charging lunchbox or other expenses. The lobby is good but the bed in the room is too small. And don't expect wi-fi in our room. Even though you can access to the wi fi, the connectivity is not good.

Good stay
Check-in went fine, once I reminded them (after 3 or 4 reminder emails and notations in our reservation) that we needed 3 single beds. In fact, the room we booked had 3 singles and no option for other bed arrangements. Yet, I noticed when I signed the check-in papers that we had been assigned a two-bed room. The receptionist quickly changed us when I mentioned I had reserved a room with 3 beds. Problem is that the third bed is not a regular bed but a sofa bed. Sofa beds are never as comfortable and the twin size was probably 10-inches narrower than a regular US twin size bed. The other two twins were US regular width. (Note that in Latin America, twin beds are always narrower than in North America). Breakfast was great, plenty of options, from cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toasts, pastries, eggs, fresh OJ, coffee, etc. Despite many reviews that wi-fi does not work, we had a very different experience. It worked perfectly well from our room (303) and common areas. Service was very good; all staffers were very polite and ready to help when asked.

Easy to access, hospitable, superb hotel
Restaurant is great, one of the receptionists was very knowledgable about the activities and excursions available as well as her English was amazing. Room was comfortable and most clean of all places I've stayed in in Argentina.

Wonderfully comfortable stay
Staff was attentive and extremely helpful with my resquests (eg swapping rooms), the hotel felt relatively new/fresh and the bedding and heating was really good. Next to the lake and free shuttle runs between hotel and town centre in the afternoon and evenings. Breakfast buffet had good selection. Very happy and highly recommended!

Quiet hotel a bit far from the center
Very nice staff, they helped me getting a better room (with lake view). Restaurant was really good, I recommand it. Room was a bit old, very different from the front desk / main hall image! Wifi was terrible, almost inexistant, even in the computer room. There is a shuttle available to connect to the center but only in the evening. Would be nice if it runs all day. I came back to El Calafate but stayed in a different hotel.

Nice hotel - a bit out of the way
Nice hotel. The room is clean and comfy and breakfast is good. As other guests have noted, it is a bit far away from the town and the hotel shuttle only runs in the evening so you have to call a cab (or walk about 30 minutes) if you want to go to town in the day. But on the plus side you are the last one to get picked up and the first to get dropped off on the tours to perito Moreno glacier. Also - the wifi connection doesn't work at the hotel. It technically works but is so weak that we would head into town and try wifi at restaurants there.

The hotel is comfortable but a bit far from downtown. They do offer a free shuttle but it starts running at 5pm. Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent. I was very disappointed on the internet connection - I was not able to connect over wi-fi and their computers were very slow.

The Restaurant!!
Location wise, its way out of the town centre. The bath area in our room is without walls. Found it weird. Must try the food in the restaurant (especially the steak). Fantastic! The restaurant is the only saving grace of this hotel. On check-out, they wanted to charge us for use of the mini bar. We never used any items in the bar. After an unpleasant discussion, there was no charge.

El Calafate
I really loved this place. I wished we had stayed more than just one night. But I booked for the single night because we weren't originally sure how long we were staying. Great service, they hold your bags in a secure room when we went to the Glacier hike. The breakfast was delicious but wish we had more time to enjoy it. There was a gigantic larger than california king size bed in our room, then a smaller twin size bed that was separate. Myself and my girlfriend ended up staying on the huge bed together. The shower was nice, this was a great treat after having been in Patagonia the last 5 days.

Our visit to El Calafate Argentina
We had a wonderful time in Calafate. The glaciers are spectacular. This hotel in Calafate is very nice. It has multiple lobbies which provide a picturesque view of the beautiful landscape. The breakfast is included and it is greater than our Continental breakfast here in the States (just providing a baseline). There were ONLY 2 issues we encountered pertaining to the room. First, the beds are small (smaller than a twin) and the room's temperature was uncomfortably warm. We turned off the heater and left the window open the entire time and it was still warm. Albeit, we were there at the warmest time of the year (February). We would return because overall RH Hotel is very welcoming.

It's so silient that you can enough relax. above all, breakfast is very nice. variety of bread, fruits, desserts, fresh juice, etc. make me look forward to every morning. There are proper amenities.. internet room, free wife and a back garden. It's little bit far from downtown. but I don't feel uncomfortable because of shuttle bus after 5pm

45 mins walk to town. Minibus only runs after 5pm.
Out of town hotel on a smart location looking over the lake. On the road to the glaciers. Interesting lakeside walk to town next to the lagoon with flamingoes, black-necked swans and ducks close by. Good breakfast and reasonably priced set meals. Decking area overlooks the lake and has a good and reasonably priced bar service.
