“Great stay, great location.”

The room was perfect, the bed was big and very comfortable. The room was very spacious. the only thing fault of the hotel was the warmth of the room over night was too hot.. this was of course fixed by opening the window a half inch. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk down the hill to the main street. breakfast was lovely and the staff were very nice. Great stay

“Great all round!”

We went to this hotel during our Honeymoon travels around Argentina and they definitely made us feel like we were celebrating our wedding. They gave us a lake view as requested and surprised us with champagne and chocolates on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was nice and the food was great, the location was perfect and to top it all off the views were wonderful!

“Great hotel and relatively close to town”

I stayed here with my husband -- the hotel is very modern, luxurious, and clean. We loved it. It is also about a 7 minute walk from the main street of town -- about as close as any hotel this nice could be. Please note, however, that two blocks of the walk are down a busy, poorly lit street with a very small sidewalk. Though we felt comfortable and safe the other time, more sensitive travellers might not.

“Best value hotel I've been to”

Very modern and well appointed hotel. Beautifully decorated room, except the lamps imitating deer horns made of plastic. Excellent buffet breakfast as well. Highly recommended hotel.

“Best hotel in El Calafate!”

Amazing hotel, a few minutes from the city center but in a quite area up in the hill. Rooms are big and clean and very modern with great views of the lake. Hotel staff is helpful and nice, breakfast is great. I can only say good things about this hotel. Great value for the money.

“Cute boutique hotel in El Calafate”

Very nice hotel and convenient location. Just a short 8 mins walk to the main street of the downtown area. The rooms were very modern, trendy, and clean. My only complaint about the rooms is that there was nowhere to control the room temperature. You couldn't even open the windows. So, it was pretty hot and stuffy in our room. Breakfast was a very nice spread and the restaurant was quite good both times that I went. Also, the hotel can arrange activities--we ended up going to the Perito Moreno Glacier through a tour company that the hotel works with. It was awesome.

“Perfect Choice!”

Esplendor was everything we were looking for in a hotel (especially when your luggage doesn't arrive over a day later!) From other reviews, we were worried over the location, however, it was fine....just a short walk (6 mins. )from the main strip! Dinner in the hotel restaurant was my husband's favorite of our entire 10-day trip to Chile and Argentina!

“Best Hotel in el Calafate”

My friends and I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We all stay in many 4/5 star hotels in the United States- and this is one of our favorite hotels ever. It is lovely and warm... It's decor is gorgeous (I want my living room in my house to look just like it). You just feel very relaxed. The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful as we tried to figure out which trips to do - we loved their honesty. The rooms were so comfortable and design was unparalleled. I didn't think the food in the hotel was so flavorful, but I guess that may be the norm in Argentina. Would go back in a heartbeat if i am ever in el Calafate again!
