“Basic room”

After reading other reviews on this site I was very leary coming to this motel. There was nothing wrong with room other than a slight smoking smell - and I was pleasantly surprised. My family and I got a room on the back side (away from the mall) and it was quiet. Very convenient to the mall. I'd like to note that others said that this motel was unsatisfactory because they nickel and dimed for anything extra. We later on this same trip stayed downtown at the Westin and it was even worse there. And you were expected to tip everyone (bellhop, valet parker, etc.)!

“Location, Location, Location”

Other reviews have said it ... nothing really special. Great location, easy to find. Very clean site, including grounds. Cons include no restaurant or pool area on site. Parking spaces are hard to snag. My bed was uncomfortably hard. There aren't enough luggage carts to go around. I've stayed before and will stay again because it is much cheaper than Fantasyland, and an easy across-the-street trek to the mall.

“Good hotel with excellent location”

The hotel room was good - nothing special, but perfectly satisfactory. The main attraction of the hotel is proximity to the West Edmonton Mall which is directly across the street. Can't ask for anything better than that plus a good room.

This hotel is within short walking distance of the Mall.

“I was impressed”

I was impressed the Inn was nicer than expected for the location.

“Convenience is key.”

We really liked this hotel. The fact that it is right across the street from West Edmonton Mall was the selling factor for us. We didn't have to worry about driving once we were at the hotel. We were able to spend our time in the mall, which is what our trip was for.

“Close and Convenient”

The West Edmonton Mall Inn is close and convenient to the mall. Right across the street is an entrance to the mall, which is right on Burbon Street with all kinds of resteraunts. If coming in from the Airport, take the shuttle, it only costs $15 pp. If you take a cab it will cost like $60! Was worth the money. It is cheaper to book the hotel online, then to book directly with them.

“great value for the $”

This was a clean well run hotel. We loved the convenience of being right across the street from the Bourbon Street entrance to the mall. The difference in price btwn this hotel and others in the area paid for our fun like the water park! We'll be back.

“We had a good time!”

We had a good time at this hotel. It was more affordable to stay here for the bulk of our stay and then splurge on a night in a fantasy suite at the Fantasyland hotel. If you have the money I would recommend Fantasyland as a first choice and this as a second. Of course, we were happy with our decision and really did enjoy both hotels. Just don't expect this hotel to be much more than a place to sleep.
