“Not impressed”
The room was great, but when it came to parking and making local phone calls, I was not really impressed. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that there was no more parking at the hotel, therefore we had to park in a paid parking lot (An additional $20). Then to make matters worse, when we used the phone to call a couple local stores to find there hours, we were charged a phone fee which is equivalent to the charge of a long distance phone call. I personally was unhappy with this trip and will not be staying at this hotel again.
“Central, convenient and comfortable!”
Check-in was quick and painless, the room was everything we expected and wanted. Loved the double shower head. Bed was a little harder than I remembered from last time. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay.
“Great hotel and the front desk staff are the best.”
Very nice hotel in a great location for downtown. The hotel staff at the front desk were helpful, efficient, and extremely friendly. I would stay here again.
“Never disappoints”
Always loved the Westin... Their beds are heavenly....
“Great hotel - great location.”
I have stayed at this Westin Hotel numerous times and have been pleased with the service. On busy weekends, it can get rowdy, however, their security is quick to respond. The beds are truly divine, and the food is tasty, although the food service can be a little slow in the restaurant itself. The location is very convenient for events at the Shaw Center, Citadel theater or Winspear. The staff is always polite and knowledgeable. Parking can fill up quickly so best to check in before 5 and leave your vehicle in the underground parking. Lots in the area have a high break-in risk even if left for a few hours at night. Overall a quality hotel, with good service. I'll stay there again.
“We hada great stay!”
Everything was great! The restaurant was a little expensive but overall great. We had prank calls at 3 am for an hour and even though it wasn't the hotels fault they paid for our parking! Will definitely go back!
“Nice”
hotel is nice, not amazing but nice. Food was way too expensive and parking way too pricey. The staff was nice and friendly. Beds comfy
“Nice Place. Expensive.”
Just a nice place to stay.
“Comfortable Stay”
We had a comfortable stay here for a couple of nights prior to catching "The Canadian" train to Vancouver. Comfortable beds and the pool was well utilised by us! Recommend this hotel as a good stop off point if travelling across Canada.
“Great value in Edmonton”
Great service and an excellent value. I would agree with others though that the parking situation is not good. The hotel charges you $26 to park on the lot beside the hotel when it only costs you $15 to do yourself. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly for the great price through Expedia.
