“Services”

Hotel was ok, but all amenities including bar service was closed by 11pm on a Saturday night. There are no readily available groceries stores nearby to pick up things so for the price of this hotel and poor amenities I was very disappointed.

“The Staff was exceptional”

The Greenwood Inn was located close to my business requirments and it provided clean rooms, excelent dining and the best staff I have encountered in a long while. Even though thewre was snow and ice all around, they always had the pathways cleared and safe. They do business the old fashioned way, they take care of the customer first!

“Would stay again if priced well”

The Greenwood is a good location if you want to be in South Edmonton or if you will visit the University. The hotel is clean. The staff were friendly. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. The restaurant served a good breakfast and the location worked well for a breakfast meeting.

“Beware the Railway Tracks”

Great location, but our room looked over the railway tracks, so we were awakened by trains going by throughout the night. The rooms on the other side of the hotel face the street, but would probably be quieter. We also found the room quite warm and turning the thermostat down didn't seem to make much difference. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful and we chose this hotel primarily because of its location and the fact that it was pet friendly, as we were traveling with our dog. If we were staying for more than one night, we would have requested a room not facing the railway line.

“Adequate”

Overall I felt that the saying if you smile at them they will smile back, not with this bunch at the front desk. They were less than pleasant at check in and check out. The sleeping area was clean, but after looking at the stuff running down the bathroom walls and the dirt in the corners of the floor I questions the over all cleanliness of the room. Fortunatly, we only had an overnight stay at this hotel.
