“Good place to stay for business”
Location was good for for me as it was close to my business meetings. The area is a bit industrial but has a few casual style restaurants nearby. The hotel had all the services one would need for a short stay, although the food in the restaurant was marginal at best. The room was clean and staff were very good. The only draw back was a very hard bed, which I did not find too comfortable
“Not the most comfortable bed!”
Great location, clean. Lacking in the comfort area for sure!! Had a terrible sleep in the bed! Woke up with a stiff neck and back!
“Excellent hotel - terrible, overpriced restaurant”
I strongly recomend this hotel, but I DON'T recomend the restuarunt on the main floor. Pretentious, overpriced, medicore food (I've had better meals at a Denny's highway truck stop). They call Jello pudding topped with dream whip chocolat mouse, and charged me for 2 Ceasers when I had a double vodka and tonic - the waiter said he didn't know how to key in a double vodka and tonic. The steak was 8 oz. of pathetic, tough beef NOT worth the "first class restaurant" price, with 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes, 4 string beans, 3 pea pods, and 1 small boiled carrot. Alberta is KNOWN for its excellent beef - where do they buy their meat - Loblaws on clearance sale? I am surprised that this excellent Hilton hotel allows such a bad restaurant operator in their hotel. Stay at the hotel, but DON'T EAT AT THE RESTAURANT!!
“Very Happy!”
I chose this hotel based on expedia customers reviews and was extremely happy with my choice. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with very comfortable bed and nice bedding. We were on the back and it was very quiet (nothing to view but we knew that when we booked) The staff from the front desk, wait staff and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. They always acknowleged us going in or out and were always ready to answer questions. The breakfast buffet was exceptional in choice and taste. The only small negative was that we found our room very warm and could only set the temperature to 18.5. This won't be a problem when we visit again in February but could be in the summer! Altogether a very nice hotel with very good staff. We will definitely stay there again.
“Nice hotel too bad the bed was a rock.”
Satisfied with everything, although our stay was short, with the exception of the bed. We had a king which was like a slab of concrete, no give at all. Thank goodness the pillows were fluffy.
“Very nice stay”
We had a one bedroom suite which was very comfortable. The entire place was very clean and bright. Very close to the mall. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with absolutely excellent wait staff. The only complaint was that the pool ran out of towels and when I went to ask for some more, they said they were looking on all the floors to find some. We gave up waiting for pool towels and took the kids back to the room soaking wet. Other than the towels, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We always stay at Hilton properties and we will definately stay here again.
“Cant wait to go back”
Second time staying in this hotel. Great service with friendly staff, amazing room, convenient location loved it.
“Karrie Northern Alberta”
Wonderful new facility. Staff helpful. Rooms nice decor and clean. No complaints. We would highly recommend. Close to WEM for easy access. Many restaurants in area. Dining facilty and Lobby are very tasteful and peaceful. Can partake in a cup of coffee or chilled wine. Check out the cookies at the reservation desk... Wonderful.... Seriously consider checking this place out.
“VERY HAPPY”
Hilton Garden Inn was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were courteous and knowledgeable.
“Definitely a return visit”
I booked into the Delta Garden Inn for a night while I was in town to attend a reunion. I had a little bit of a problem finding the hotel (self-inflicted, I admit, because I missed my turn-off), but I was glad to find it. The hotel is a beautiful building within walking distance of one of west Edmonton's busiest commercial areas. It's less than five minutes away from one of Edmonton's biggest attractions, West Edmonton Mall, and is situated on busy thoroughfares that connect the hotel with other attractions. The staff was very friendly and courteous. When I checked in, they were aware that Expedia had taken care of the arrangements, including payment. The also considered my comfort. They had informed me of a wedding reception in the building that evening, and so booked me into a room on the opposite side of the building from the reception to mitigate interaction with partiers. I'm very impressed with that. The rooms are very quiet and well maintained. The view from my room was much to be desired, but then again, it's not as if the hotel were overlooking a grand vista worthy of a camera. In all, great location, wonderful service, and first-rate amenities. On my next overnight visit to Edmonton, I will definitely stay there again.
