“NICE WEEKEND.”

We have stayed at your hotel a lot but what we have been disappointed with the past couple of times is your bar closes too early. We went to the hockey game Saturday night. We got back to the hotel before 11:00 pm hoping to have a couple of drinks and something to eat . The chain was across and there were a few other people wanting to go in as well. Closing a bar at 11:00 pm on a Saturday night with a hockey game in town seems awfully early. Just a comment but we did enjoy our stay.

“Great Downtown Edmonton Location”

For the price, it was a good value. It is in a convenient downtown location, close to the mass transit station and restaurants, and had a nice workout facility. Our room had a great view of the downtown skyline, and it was a short walk to the parks along the river. The only downside was the condition of the hotel. The carpet in our room was a little worn and dirty, and the bathtub had a big chunk of the glaze missing. It looks like they are in the process of remodeling some of the floors, but it hadn't reached the level where our room was located yet.

“A Decent Place to Stay”

Other than the out-of-date and slightly shabby wallpaper in the room, this was a very convenient and nice place to stay. If they eventually update the rooms (paint rather than w.p., newer fixtures, etc.), this will make this place fantastic rather than decent.

Everything in the hotel was great. The only downfall was the parkade., it was dingy. BUT, it was getting renovated, so the future will be better

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Edmonton. Parking in their underground is expensive ($13/day). It is an older property (1967) but the management has maintained it well. The breakfast room is pleasant and selection of items good, but very, very expensive. I think a glass of juice is $4. Our room was spacious and clean and was neither too hot or too cold. It had 2 dbl beds. We travelled with our kids so it was uncomforatable to share a double with my husband. Our room did not have a fridge or sink. These would have been nice amenities. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming.

“Good Bang for your Buck...horrible parking!”

Overall it was a pleasant stay, nice fixtures, nice room and very clean. However I had to pay a handsome amount for parking and the parking fixtures are falling apart. The column of cement over my car has paint peeling off and covered my car in white paint chips and had potential of scratching the vehicle if I had not removed it carefully.

“Good Hotel in Edmonton”

I have been staying there a few times and it is a nice comfortable hotel, great location, with reasonable prizes. The only thing is the elevator from the parkade to the hotel needs to be upgraded and make it smell better. Good dining and great staff. Enjoy!

“Love the view”

This is a very classy older hotel, and we always enjoy our stay there. You can have a river valley view or a city view, and both are amazing. Last time we had a partial city and river view, and were able to watch the cruising of the Edmonton River Queen. The rooms are quite large, and the up-graded linens are a plus.
