“Excellent staff!”

Firstly, I would like to commend the staff at the hotel. Every employee I encountered smiled, I was warmly greeted, they were courteous and helpful. My room was clean and had all the necessary touches. For one person on business, it was roomy. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows (like that) and warm. No loud banging or clanging from heating or a/c units. Floor traffic I hardly heard. The room was quiet. Room service was helpful, courteous and prompt. Had trouble getting the movie I ordered going, but assistance was prompt, helpful and they followed up to make sure. The staff made the difference here. Hats off!

“Adequate, but not superior”

We enjoyed our one night stay. it was quite a walk from the parking lot to the elevator, but once we arrived in our room, it was just fine.

“Hotel needs updating, probably would go back.”

Hallway carpets old and dirty. Hotel is old and needs a clean up.

“You get what you pay for!!”

Cheap & cheerful!! Staff good, beds comfortable - we only stayed one night. No hot water for shower in morning, staff apologised when we checked out and gave us a voucher for breakfast. Would not want a long stay there but one or two nights is fine.

“Good staff, but very outdated”

This place needs a reno... badly. This hotel is what you'd expect to find in a small town - not in a city like Edmonton. Very outdated and smells like it too. Beds were OK - fairly comfortable. Don't bother with the restaurant in the hotel - there are many restaurants nearby that are far better for the same price.

“Ok, but not worth the rate”

Given the price and rating I was expecting the hotel to be a bit nicer. It was clean, but a bit out of date. I had stayed at another hotel in Edmonton the week before where the rates were cheaper and the hotel was much nicer. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and it sounded like an explosion every time the neighboring room ran any water.
