“A very comforterable hotel”

While the hotel was excellent in many ways the arrangements for breakfast were rather unsatisfactory and seemed to be somewhat disorganised. The foos was good but theservice was indiffeent. Still this did not spoil a good overall stay.

“Tigerlily”

This is a great hotel! The staff were fantastic! Being a diabetic I required food at around 1 in the morning and it was no trouble at all for the staff. I stayed two nights and I was amazed at how many staff knew my name. I would recommend this hotel as one of the best places to base yourself when in Edinburgh!!

“beautiful modern hotel”

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Tigerlily and didn't want to leave. Check-in was a bit weird-- had to walk through the bar and check in at what seemed to be the hostess desk for the restaurant. Our room was large and comfortable with pretty views. Loved the large, very modern bathroom and salon-grade hair dryer, and this is the extra nice touch, the flatiron straightener. Mist-induced frizzies be gone! Didn't go to the bar, but it seemed happening.

“Fantastic!!”

On arrival first impressions wer impressive and only got better. The hotel room was amazing - so modern and an absolute pleasure to stay in. I was just disappointed we were only there for one night. We are already planning our next visit.....

“A blissful escape...”

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tigerlily just before New Year 2007. The hotel is very understated from the outside, but this understatement vanishes immediately once you step inside! The decor is fabulous. From the welcoming hostesses on the door, to the cheerful porter, to the lovely girls on reception, to the charming waitress who served us dinner, we found the staff to be 100% polite and professional. Our room was built for a romantic get-away - very chic, and extremley comfortable and large. We thought the red lights round the windows were a particularly fun and retro touch! Smack in the centre of beautiful Edinburgh, this hotel really is a gem, perfect for a spot of escapist indulgence. We cannot wait to return!

“Would definitely return”

Stayed here for one night on business and would definitely return. The hotel staff were extremely helpful & friendly. I arrived much earlier than normal checkin and they let me have my room from 9am. The room was very spacious, with great attention to detail. I loved the bathroom with shower/wetroom! The bar was busy in the evening even for a Tuesday but not a problem it had a great atmosphere. Everyone I met in Edinburgh spoke highly of the hotel & said the staff are trained very well by the hotel group. I will definitely be back on a short break with friends.

“Best place to stay in”

The downside is that there is no on-site parking. You have to park at an NCP car park which is 10 minutes away. There is free in front of the hotel though overnight, but during the day you have to move your car as the stay is 3hrs max (charged) avoid a parking ticket. Otherwise the hotel is superb, centrally located with good facilities. The bar downstairs is very vibrant and gorgeous.

We had an awesome time at Tigerlily and would definitely stay there again.
