“Sunday - Tuesday Stay”

Having arrived in Edinburgh after a somewhat complicated journey we arrived at the Scotsman and our experience immediately changed. Having only taken about 2o min and cost only a few pounds by bus we only had a short walk to the hotel from the bus stop. The personnel were extremly helpful and friendly (they upgraded our room to a suite for no apparent reason!), the room was superp and facilities excellent. The only reason I did not give the comfort in the room a 5 was because it was really warm during the night and we could not work out how to turn down the heating (our fault really). Expensive but if you need comfort and luxury then this is definitely it.

The Scotsman was an excellent hotel, just steps from the Royal Mile and close to everything downtown. The room was beautiful, though too hot for our taste and temp. was not adjustable. Fitness facilities and pool were very nice. Like many hotels beware of ridiculous prices to use telephone, especially to call a mobile number. Good value.

Perfectly located, even during Fringe and Military Tattoo, concierge got us into every restaurant we requested. We were able to walk everywhere, the staff was very friendly and the gym is phenomenal!!

“A Real Gem in Edinburg, UK”

Beautiful facility in the center of Edinburg right next to the Royal Mile and Waverly Station with very helpful friendly staff and every detail attended to with perfection. The bellman even offered to carry our bags to the nearby train station after showing us the way to the exit closest to it. The room we had was better than expected with great views of the city and every amenity you can think of. Very highly recommended!!
