“A pleasant stay in Edinburgh”

A comfortable stay, pleasant rooms, very reasonable rates and friendly staff. Excellent location for getting to the EICC as we were attending a conference.

“Super hotel”

The Roxburghe is a discreet, but modern and comfortable hotel. Even though we forgot to book parking they managed to find us a space. Great location - close to the shops and restaurants and only a short walk to the Royal Mile. Edinburgh is a lovely city - we strongly recommend it!

A good hotel, that was being renovated during our visit. Magnificent room in the old part of the hotel. A great place to visit Edinburgh from, although if you have a car, limited parking. The new tramway being built in Edinburgh made acces a bit more difficult. Iain

“Great location in centre of Edinburgh”

This is my 2nd visit to the Roxburgh Hotel in Edinburgh. The entrance is lovely with good service on arrival. The concierge was really kind and very polite which made our arrival special. Our room was quite small but nice fresh decor and comfortable. The swimming pool is in need of a revamp with missing tiles, freezing cold water and in general looking rather dated. My one main disappointments was I left my sunglasses in the room. It took several calls to the housekeeping after I got home to be told they could not be found. I found this to be terrible customer services. Overall this is a really good hotel with fantastic location at the west end of Princes Street. We were going to a concert at the Usher Hall which was a five minute walk. It is situated in the middle of George Street and Rose Street which are both great for shops and bars.

Hotel very convenient for the shops & other aminities in the centre of Edinburgh. The staff where very professional & friendly.

“Nice hotel, close to everything!”

This hotel was very nice to stay in, the staff (w/ exception of one) was extremely pleasant and helpful--the concierage especially! The only suggestion I would have is to get breakfast elsewhere unless you plan on eating a feast. It cost 17.90 GBP for a buffet and you could not order ala carte, so you could end up paying 40USD for a coffee and croissant. Other than that the hotel was nice and very close to Princes St and restaurants on Rose St.
