The best 2+ bedroom place to stay in Edinburgh

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Pros: Location. Clean. People. Furnishings.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Castle. You are right in the Centre. Just walk out the door!
Stayed with my sister July 2015 - fantastic! Great location walking distance to the castle, a grocery, many restaurants & pubs. Great reception staff. Little breakfast basket that was just fine. 2 large bedrooms one with a queen one with twin beds. A living room, kitchen, hallway & bathroom. Large place with the front on the main street but the bedrooms on the back so it was quiet. We loved it. Would stay again. Perfect for a family. Very clean.

Better than expected

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Very clean, Organized, Friendly, Everything in our rooms was updated and worked perfectly
Cons: Maybe just a little more explanation of some of the apartments amenities.....but we figured everything out and were very happy
Location: Centrally located in Edinburgh.....walk 10 to 15 minutes and you can do just about anything.
We stayed at the Knight Residence for five nights....All I can say is they have exceeded all expectations. I have traveled extensively worldwide and without a doubt The Knight Residence is in my top three.

Best Place Stayed Ever!

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Family of four stayed for 3 nights. The place is awesome, my 4-year-old want to just hang around in the room instead of going out. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The 2-BR apartment is spacious. Everything in the room is either brand new or well maintained and modern! They actually provided complementary breakfast! And they have house keeping very day! (Remember this is supposed to be an apartment.) Of course 10-15 minutes walk to new town and old town. Saints Bury grocery store is around corner. It is the best place we stayed ever!

Great Apartment for family

Posted 04-Jul-2015
Great place. Very nice staff, spacious, clean apartment with everything you need. They even provided a small breakfast including cereal, bread, jam butter and milk. Two small notes on the negative side, 1. The floor is very creaky which is strange since the place has been completely refurbished. 2. It's right next door to a couple of strip clubs.

Location: Grassmarket - foot of the Royal Mile, central location.
Terrific "flat." Only place I could find with two rooms and a queen & king bed that didn't break the bank!

Pros: Great location .
Cons: Could do with two dishtowels in the kitchen, one wasn't enough!
This was the perfect place to stay for myself, my daughter and her two small children ages 8 months and almost 3. It was a very central location and within walking distance of the Grass market,Chamber Street museum, Royal Mile, the Castle, the Meadows, Princes street gardens , George street and St Andrews square - perfect for walking. The children visited Bobby and Greyfriars Kirkyard every day, my grandson rode his scooter in Princes Street gardens and played in the park there, and to please mummy and Granny they came with us to Harvey Nick's lunch! The staff were friendly, very helpful and they made us feel so welcome. Having an elevator was a godsend. The Welcome basket of groceries was great and having Sainsbury's across the street was so convenient . We would definitely stay there again, very good value. Kitchen really well fitted out , good towels, nice thick robes and the beds were clean with nice linens. The DVDs were great.
